French is hard! But there's this girl in my French class who's helping me out.

"Okay, now let's start working on family and friends." Piper said, opening the textbook to a different page. "What family members live with you?"

"My mom, dad, sister, and three brothers."

"So how do you say 'my mom'?" Piper slid the book to my side of the table.

I looked over the page, before seeing it.

"Ma mère?"

"Correct. Now 'my dad'?"

This time I didn't use the textbook. "Ma père?"

"Close, but the word of possession should match the gender of the noun, not you. Try again."

"Um, mon père?"

Then a monster burst into my room and decapitated Piper. The end.
