Benjamin

   "Unfortunately I do" I muttered. I was surprised Penelope knew about Hort.

   "Really?! That's so cool! I saw his family on the news, his father found a cure for that deadly disease" she said.

   Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that Hort's family were pretty famous. His mother is really nice. As kids, his father would do magic tricks for the neighbourhood in his free time. Makes me wonder how such a delightful family had such a sinister and mean child.

   "How do you know Hort?" I asked

   "He's been the talk of the school!" she said eagerly "He-"

   "Attention!' yelled a lady, who must have been our teacher. She was a bit large and was wearing a bright blue polka dotted dress. Her warm brown hair was put in an updo with pretty seashells in it. I definitely approved of her ensemble. 

   "Good morning everyone, I am Mrs Tillett, your Grade 9 English teacher," she said in a friendly voice. "Since it's your first day how about we introduce ourselves and play a game? Lets start from the front row and move back"

   She gestured for a kid to get up. Hort stood out of his seat and put on a dazzling smile which made the girls sigh. Can you believe this guy?

"My name is Hort as you would know, I like playing sports and going skiing at our ski lodge," he said and sat down.

"Very nice Hort, next?" she asked

A guy I never saw before raised his hand. He had warm caramel eyes that made me hungry and wavy auburn hair. "I would like to," he said in an clear voice. "My name is Benjamin" he said with a warm smile "I love to take care of my sheep and design clothing"

"Wow, you design clothing?" Mrs Tillett asked 

"Yes, my mother is a fashion designer"

"Well, maybe I'll ask her to help me with my wardrobe?" Benjamin laughed, it was very contagious, and the class laughed along. 

"I think you're fine Mrs Tillett" Benjamin replied then sat down. We made eye contact and he smiled, I smiled back. 

"That was an awesome introduction, it's so cool that you have you own sheep!" I said

"Thanks, they're named Bethany and Bernard" he replied then turned back to the front.

"Okay thank you Benjamin, next is ....you!" said Ms Tillett and pointed at me. Here goes nothing I thought.
