Fairy Tail and it's characters all belong to Hiro Mashima. I only own the story and plotine. I absolutely love Fairy Tail and finally decided to write a fanfiction on it. I've been looking into a story that's unique from other Fairy Tail fanfictions. And finally I thought of a Pirate/Mermaid Nalu story.
How this works is the guilds are actually Pirate Ships. The name of the Guild is also the name of the ship. They don't use Wizardry but magic is involved in this story. Everyone uses Pirate weapons that relate to the magic they use in the anime.
