My disembodied wings were sitting in the corner of the room. I looked around for any sight of danger in the building. When I thought the coast was clear, I walked to get my wings. I grazed a few of my weak fingers on my giant fiery wings. Just as I was about to grab the wings and take them out of this dark building, a hand grabbed my wrist, pulling me into the darkness.
"I thought you would come back for these." A familiar voice cackled. "You." I hissed, pulling my arm from his dead cold grasp. As he walked into the light, I wanted to punch him right in his smirking face. It was the man who got me in this situation. "Miss me?" He said, laughing like this was actually something that was humerus. "Great universe. This is just great. TOTALLY WHAT I NEEDED TO COMPLETE MY DAY! HEAR THAT KARMA? YOU CAN STOP DOING THIS TO ME BECAUSE WHAT I ALREADY HAVE IS ENOUGH AND ITS JUST AWESOME!" I screamed to the ceiling, flailing my arm like a dying bird.
"Ughhhhhh. What do you even want anywa- hey. I don't even know your name." I said, cutting my self off. "Wouldn't you like to know." He said.
" uhhhhhhh, No duh. Why the hell do you think I asked?" I said, yelling again. "My name is Yuvane." He said. "Well it was a horror meeting you Yuvane. Now if you'll excuse me I'll take my wings and get out of your hair." I said, walking around him toward my wings. "You want them, you have to fight me for them." He said, grabbing my wrist.
He stared, smirking at me waiting for my response. Idiot. I punched him in his face with no expression on my face. He fell to the ground, and I thought he was too weak to get up. Until he grabbed my ankle and pulled me down two. I instantly started kicking and punching him, doing as much damage as I could without magic. I punched him in the gut, I kicking him in the legs, I slapped him square on his forehead. He was curled in a ball, crying in pain. I blasted my magic towered him, but the only thing to come out was a spark. More pathetic that a dying lighter. He soon got up and was ready to fight again.
"Guess you're powers are gone?" Yuvane started. "Well I guess that helps me!" He punched in my direction, but missed as I crouched down. "Guess you didn't make the karate team huh? Try again next year Hun!" I said, and I couldn't help but laugh at that. He growled at my sarcastic remark, and punched harder and more rapidly. Eventually I was just standing somewhere in place and he still missed.
I yawned, punched him, and he fell to the ground knocked out. I grabbed my wings and walked out of the building slowly, to make my mark on this building. As I walked out I realized something, who the beach was going to help me?! I would for sure need a doctor to sew my wings back on, but if you were a sane doctor would you help make a girl who had escaped from prison stronger?
As I pondered this, I realized that another reason I wanted to escape was so I could get revenge on Yuvane! And I left him back there! I face palmed so much as o screamed in anger for just leaving him back there. But revenge would be easier if I could fly....I need someone who is willing to sew in my wings. And I might just know who.
Lots of people that go to my friends school know how to sew. Wouldn't one be able to sew my wings back on? I started running to find someone to ask if they knew anyone who can sew. I ran around until I saw Teagan sitting on a bench, eating a taco. I ran up to her and waved my wings in the air yelling, "TELL ME WHO CAN SEW WOMAN!!" I got a little to over excited, for Teagan told me to calm down as I hunched over to catch my breath. "Sorry- I need- someon-e who ca-n sew my-wings-back on." I said, in between breaths. "Well, I could. She said. "Really? Wow I guess it is that easy." I said, finally catching my breath.
"Nope." The recently familiar voice of Yuvane said. "Are you kidding me, can't you move to an island near the Bermuda Triangle?" I said, getting frustrated. "Ha. Young, innocent Emma." He said. "Ok one," I started, "I'm thousands of years older than you. Two, I can literally rip you to pieces, and three, I guess I'll have to do number two." I said as I jumped up, ready to hurt him one last time.
