Inner spirits

For anyone wondering, Yuvane is pronounced like this:   U•Vae•Ne.       Like the word you before *ane* in the word pane

I thought for a moment. Then I knew what I needed to do. I instantly had a flash back to my childhood right there and then.

I was sitting in a cell with mom. We where laughing and talking when she abruptly stopped and her smile faded. "Emma. You're old enough to know now. I have to..........teach you something." I looked up confused at her, And  she got the message and started to explain. "It's a curse. A curse to use when someone tries to steal your soul. Your power. Listen first." She said starting to stand from where she was sitting with me on her lap.

"Every move you make, every soul you take."
"They will all come back to haunt."
"Every drop of blood you spill, from every person you kill."
"They will all come back to haunt."
"So kill me now, do as you please, but know your spirits will never be at ease."

Once mom finishes that curse I asked, "what dose that do?" "It curses the person so if they take your soul or any one else's, the person that they killed comes back as a ghost and is free to haunt them." She replied with a soft yet concerned smile.

My mothers words ringed in my ears as Yuvane said "well? Words it not?"
"Every move you make every soul you take. They will all come back to haunt. Every drop of blood you spill from every person you kill. They will all come back to haunt. So kill me now, do as you please. But know you're spirits will never be at ease."
       Yuvane stared at the sky and dropped me as leaves and dirt swirled around us. He dropped the knife and screamed "WHAT WAS THAT?!" "A curse." I replied. "Every time you take someone's soul now, the ghost will come and kill you." Then I grabbed his shirt and held my fist to his face. "So kill me
if you can." With that I flew off into the sky, leaving Yuvane with his thought.
As I flew I had my thoughts as well. But the first one that popped into my head was 'why was Yuvane so scared when I cursed him?' I had lots of thoughts, but this one thought never left my mind. Why? What was he afraid of? Now all he has to do is not kill people and he will be fine! Right? I don't know. Was that a bad idea? No iT wAs A PerFEctlY fiNe IdEA EmMa. "Who are you?" I asked out loud, after someone interrupting my mind conversation. "I aM YoUr dArk sIde." I swear it was talking out loud. "Oh please. Leave her alone dark side." Another random voice said. "Great. Now I hearing voices. Is this planet going to make me insane?" I cried. "Don't be scared Emma. We are not just random voices. We are your four core spirits. I am heart, you've met dark side," she's was cut off by the sound of dark side saying "SuP." "Brain is a bit shy, and soul will probably accidentally kill us all with her power if we are in the same room as her." Heart said. Just then a new voice started booming.
         "What's will all the noise?" It said. "Ah soul. I see you've awoken. Emma finally used the spirit spell. Go find brain." Heart says to the new voice, which was apparently soul. "Ok!" Soul said happily. "The spirit spell?" I asked Heart once Soul left.  "ThE SpELl yOU puT on YuvAne. ThAt spElL camE wiTh a PriCe. ThAt PricE waS Us beIng ABLe tO ContAct YoU." Dark side answered. Just then Soul and a new voice that I was guessing was brain came to the room. "Hiieeeeeee!"  Soul said. "Oh um..........hi."  Brain said. Then I heard a slapping noise and my head started hurting. "Ow! Dark side! Why did you do that?!"  Cried Brain. "THaTs foR nOt shoWinG EmMa the fUll flaShBack." Dark side angrily said.  Then Dark Side slapped Brain one more time. "AnD thAts foR juSt sTandIng theRe wIthoUt showiNg the FLAshBacK." Before I could say anything else, I saw my mom again after the last part of the flashback.

"But it comes with a cost." Mom said looking a bit worried. "A...........cost?" I asked confused. "Your 4 core sprits will be able to contact you. Once saying the spell, they will live in your head until they one, die, or two, you reverse the spell."
  
My flashback ended and I stood there until I sarcastically said "Great so I have 4 mini me's living inside of me until I kill Yuvane." This earned a huge laugh from dark side, a normal laugh from Soul, a chuckle from heart, and a little snort from brain.
       "Until the next day of living with spirits." I said as I flew into the clouds.
