I opened the door and smiled wide as mama stood behind it "Hey baby just came to see how you doin." Mama smiled and kissed my cheek and walked in "Oh my goodness what smells so delicious?" She asked sniffing the air "Chassidy cooking." I replied closing the door and entering the security lock. I turned to see mama had made her way into the kitchen "Hey Mama D." Chassidy smiled an mama hugged her warmly "Baby girl your cooking smells delicious. Are you and Rameek finally together?" She asked Chassidy blushing hard at the question "No not yet mama." Chassidy giggled and went back to cooking while mama sat on the counter seats "How is everything mama?" I asked as I entered the kitchen an kisses her cheek "It's going good baby like always. Your sister comes over but I see you're forgetting about me lately so I came to see if everything's going alright.." Mama admitted crushing my heart "I'm sorry mama just been busy with buisness and stuff. But I'm glad you stopped over, ill come over more often aight?" I assured getting a warm smile from her "Good baby." She took my hand and sighed "So Chassidy not that I want you out of here but if you guys aren't dating why exactly are you living here baby?" Mama asked making me tense and look away "uh oh.." Mama mumbled squeezing my hand "what happened?" She asked feeling me grow angry "My ex boyfriend I left a month ago decided to come over here while me and Cassie hung out and he yelled and hit me so Cassie called Rameek." Chassidy explained pausing and sighing "So Rameek told me I could stay here." She finished placing the ribs into the oven and sitting on the counter seat with mama "oh poor thing, I'm glad rashad got you outta that situation.. Men and their disrespectful asses." She mumbled making me chuckle "I ain't raise my babies to be like no way, and if I ever hear rashad put his hands on a female I'm wooping that ass." Mama warned making us al laugh. After dinner was ready mama stayed and we all ate. Gotta admit lil mama can cook. Mama left a lil after and once I closed the door Chassidy dropped something in the kitchen making me rush in and look as she grabbed into her stomach "You good?!" I exclaimed going to grab for her but she inched away "I-I'm fine okay.." She assured going to bend over to grab the dish she let fall "Yo ma leave it ill do it." I assured grabbing her elbow causing her shirt to rise and what I saw? Pissed me off.. Bruises.. Two of them on her stomach "Are you fucking kidding me?!" I yelled Chassidy grabbing onto my shoulders and crying "Why you stay with someone like him if his ass was abusing you Chassidy?!" I asked gripping her waist and pinning her softly against the counter "I-I didn't know what to do I just held it in and thought it would get better.." She whispered sobbing "Aight ma.. Aight Shh." I soothed pulling her to me and rubbing her back "Just go up and shower and shit. Ill clean this up and the dishes." I assured "and climb into my bed." I added kissing her cheek and watching her nod and make her way out the kitchen. I finished up cleaning the glass an the dishes so I made my way upstairs to find Chassidy in one of my basketball shorts and shirt and her having my clothes on? She looked hella fine "I also took a shirt hope you don't mind.." She whispered looking down "Nah I don't ma." I assured smirking and scratching the back of my neck. I climbed into bed and she hesitated before laying beside me. I was drifting off after awhile before I felt a small warm figure cuddle up into me. I blinked a couple times and looked down to find Chassidy with her head on my arm and her hand on my chest. I smirked and pulled her closer cuddling up to her more and shit I slept like a fucking baby. 👌
