'Tell me, does it take a war to start a revolution?
I see the look in your eye.'
---English with Mr Lancer at Casper High wasn't the worst. But it sure seemed to drag on. Casper High was a small school found in the small town called Amity Park. Currently around 20 students were in the classroom and teenagers being teenagers one would expect some noise. But all was silent. It had been quite the opposite a minute ago, until a certain trio burst in a whopping 30 minutes late for class that was in the middle of the day.
"This better be some excuse you three." Lancer said finally. 16 year olds, Samantha 'Sam' Manson and Tucker 'Tuck' Foley where too busy panting like they'd run a marathon to answer. The third offender Daniel 'Danny' Fenton, also 16, ignored the teacher completely and looked around the room with a strange expression on his face. As he breathed heavily, but noticeably lighter than his friends, wisps of vapour came out and Lancer couldn't help but exhale to see his own breath. But he couldn't. It was a warm afternoon. "Mr Fenton." Danny's head snapped towards the sound, he tilted his head, his blue eyes wide and frantic. For a moment Lancer was put off. He then cleared his throat and continued with, "You're late. Excuse?" Danny's lips parted and then closed again a few times before he spoke.
"We all need to leave. Now." He said in a deadly serious voice. Lancer rolled his eyes and escorted the two breathless teens in behind Danny and closed the door. Everyone else was silent, wondering where Danny had found the spine to pull a stunt like this.
"No leaving school property until-"
"No. Now. Danger!" Danny spluttered. But before he could elaborate there was a sickening crack and Danny looked up at the roof in horror. A ghastly green portal had opened up. There was a serene stillness to the class before chaos reigned and students stampeded to the door. With no luck however. The portal flashed brightly before it began to pull everyone in.
"Pride and the Prejudice! What is that!" Lancer cried clinging to his desk.
"Danger." Danny said quietly his eyes bright with fear, anger and disappointment. It was the last image Lancer saw before darkness.
