¢hapter Two.

    >I hope you are liking the book so far<

They fell from the sky slowly as I studied them- the rain drops. They fell down separate never two going the same speed. They drenched the dark woods with their cries and hid my tears. The tears fell to the ground like the rest of them, I couldn’t stop them they fell from sadness and I’m never happy. I wouldn’t end my life though- I don’t know how too and Zayn is still out there.

“Catherin what are you doing out here?” I heard Cody’s voice above me I looked up seeing his sad concerned face like it always is. I shrugged and curled back into my ball on the ground Cody jumped down from the tree and walked over to me. He bent down to me and rubbed my back. I felt myself being picked up and I cuddled closer to his body as he walked back to the cave, not using vampire speed just walking which was nice.

My ears caught something close by and I went to warn Cody, but it was too late.

I was thrown out of Cody’s grip and too the ground, landing on my back should of knocked the wind out of me, but I don’t breath anymore- it did nothing to me but piss me off! I got to my feet seeing three vampires trying to defeat Cody and two wolves, I sat there watching. I’ve never fought only with Cody and he’s never gone hard on me, water washed over the wolves making them yelp from the impact, other than that Cody needed help.

I heard growling and turned to my left slowly seeing the wolves creeping up on me, dry blood covered their grey and brown fur and blood dripped from their snouts. I screamed as one jumped to me, I jumped out of the way, the wolves turned to the one vampire that lost interest in the Knight in training and focused on me.

He grinned at me showing his fangs that were also bloody with a thick dark blood telling me not to long ago they killed another vampire. Our blood was very thick and dark almost black. He had a buzz cut and his hair was black. He crept up to me as I backed away leaving more and more room between us. I remember something Liam showed me, he activated Cody’s powers by using his on Cody as a shield to protect himself Cody’s powers came to the surface. I looked at Cody he was just getting done killing one of the vampires by stabbing him in the heart.

“C-Cody” I whispered hopping he would hear me but he showed no signs of hearing me. I tried again but louder. “Cody!” I screamed by voice cracking form screaming so loud, the vampire in front of me covered his ears so did Cody. Cody stopped what he was doing for a second and looked at me.

“Use your power on me!” I yelled as the vampire in front of me came closer. Cody looked at me with confusion, “Just do it!” I yelled, my blood boiling in my veins. I saw a wave of water come close to me and I came up with a plan.

Focus on the power- if I had one. And move your hand to the vampire hopefully the water will be gone and my power will go to the vampire and kill him or at least hurt him. The water came closer and I turned to the vampire closing my eyes and shoving my arm out in front of me, I heard a yell and yelps and my whole body became drenched. I opened my eyes, I moved the vampire and wolves into a tree! I fell down in shock and slowly scooted to the tree behind me.

Cody ran up to me in vampire speed with a smile on his face, I guess he killed that vampire. Cody picked me up and ran vampire speed to the cave, I was shocked what power do I have? I was laid on the ground and I looked up at Cody waiting for him to speak.

“Catherin that was amazing! Your power is astonishing!” He smiled and laid down to me. I turned around on my side and faced him.

“Cody what did I just do?” I whispered. It felt good, I felt powerful, I didn’t feel like extra weight.

“You’re telepathic Catherin”
