SHUT UP AND LISTEN

Once everyone was in the clearing, Lynnzae set out on finding Darcey and the gang. Nevertheless, when they found her, everyone was on edge. She was going to ask what was wrong but Darcey answered her question. "Your sister and Cole's brother. They just give us the chills. You need to go with Cole. You need to speak to your people."

"Where is..." Lynnzae started to ask.

"Over there with Cole. He never shuts up about you," Darcey replied with a smile. Her mind reading saved some time, at least. Lynnzae walked from them to Cole and Josh. Cole's smile warmed her. However, when she glanced at Max she felt cold like he was evil. In addition, looking at her sister she felt nothing. Everything was emotionless. As Alyson looked to Max she saw a flash of evil. Was her sister more like her father? Was she just as evil? Josh pulled her up onto the little platform holding her hand.

"You ready for this?" Josh asked her in a low voice.

"Ready as I'll ever be," Lynnzae sighed. "I hate public speaking," she looked up at him. Every year they were together she dreaded public speaking. He looked at her.

"Can fight like the gods, but still little self preservation of the power you fully have. I wish you could see the girl I see. You're not ten anymore Lynns. It is time to stop hiding. You're destined for greatness," Josh said so softly that I leaned in to hear him. Nevertheless, he looked so sad. "I wish I was still alive." Me too! Lynnzae thought.

"Lynnzae!" Cole's voice sent a shock of joy down my spine. "It's time." A big lightning bolt hit Lynnzae in the chest. It shocked her at first. "That proves you're the queen." Lynnzae looked at her tattoos as they glowed. Lynnzae walked in front of the crowed of about fifty people. She looked at Cole and Josh and felt their goodness. However, when she looked at Alyson and Max the coldness returned.

"Hello. Umm my name is Lynnzae Yang Silver bolt, and I am one of your queens."

"Not to the Pinsing your not," a man screamed.

"She bares the mark," she heard Kiefer yell back.

"Okay, okay. Let's all calm down. I would like to speak to the Pinsing. I know we are enemies, but it is time to join us. There is a war coming from L.A. and they want to take y'all down, too. If you destroy them y'all will become the strongest Pinsing group ever!" She stopped for a response.

"Destroy one of our own? I think not." A man stood "I'm out." a lot of people followed .

"WAIT!" Lynnzae called. She raised her hand. Please let this work. "You will fall at my hand." Everyone that thought of leaving fell screaming. Their friends ran to them. She let go of them. "You see. I am very powerful so join us or die. It's just that simple."

"Fine we'll stay but don't ever do that again or I'll-"

"You'll do what? Kill me? You've been trying to do that for 19 years," Lynnzae laughed. She turned and walked to Cole. "I have a question Cole. Why can't I read their minds?"

"Only the queens knows the magic words," he stated.

"Let me think," Lynnzae said. "Well there is one thing I'd like to try. 'light and dark are not as they seem. Reveal your secrets to me today.'" When she said that, all their thoughts hit her. Lynnzae fell to her knees and screamed her head off. Josh ran to her and put his arms around her. Cole fell beside her too.

"Lynnzae, Lynnzae!" Cole screamed. She collapsed on Cole's chest.

"What?" she whispered.

"Don't ever do that again." He laid his hand on her cheek.

"I'll try," she sighed.
