Your POV
As packed the last bag, aunt A/N sat next to me.

" Hey I know Gene can be like this but just give him a chance "

" Why would I give him a chance, he already broke my feelings " I swung the bag over my shoulder.

I grabbed Lucas' hand with his tiny backpack on his back. The rain was still falling down the sky, I opened the door to the truck and Lucas sat in his car seat. As I got in the drivers seat I started the car and saw aunt A/N waving to me, me and Lucas waved back and drove out the driveway.

As we stopped my traffic lights and stopped for food, we were almost coming out of the city. Memories started coming in my head.

Dad- hey sweetie!
You- morning dad
Dad- are you ready to go to the city?
You- well kind of.....

When I went to school and first time meeting Gene.

???- oh, I think she's lost
???- a cute one to
You- mep!
???- aw! She so scared

Then I started whimpering as they circled around me then I felt a hand grab my wrist and pulled into a chest.

???- oh I can feel her breathing with fear

I felt his other hand going down my back, his dark blue eyes full with darkness, and I felt a squeeze on my butt. I griped onto his blazer and fisting it I was squeezing my eyes in pain.

You- p-please st-op
???- aw how cute

I felt him stroked my hair and and pushed me away and letting me fall on the ground.

???- be careful where you walked kitty
You- * whispers and whimpers * o-okay
???- ata girl

As we drove onto a bridge the rain was hitting the windows and light were faintly seen. I saw a figure on the middle of the bridge, I put my hoodie on and lucky the rain that hard and I walked outside.

" I'm sorry sir but you are in the middle of the road why are in in the middle of a bridge anyway? "

" To stop you "

" To stop me doing what? "

" Going home, please Y/N don't go cause of me "

" G-Gene "

" Y-yes * sneezes * it's me Gene "

" What are you doing in the middle of a bridge and in the rain "

" Please hear me out, I never meant to hurt your feelings I wasn't thinking, I had no idea on what I was doing. I felt really dumb right after, your aunt told me you were going home so I drove here well Aaron did, please Y/N give me another chance "

It started getting closer and I started hugging myself.

" Gene, you never knew how much that hurt me, in high school that broke my trust in you. But I see that you have changed but I was wrong again, but I realised something it happened again "

" What are you trying to say? " Gene asked.

" T-that I love you Gene, I mean it " As those words came out of my mouth. I had an urge, I went up to him and wrapped my arms around him.

" Are you saying the truth? "

" Yes "

" Then kiss me " My heart pounded out of my chest.

I started to close my eyes and start to lean in, as my lips touch something soft and warm I realised it was Gene's lips.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and he titled his head sideways to deepened the kiss, he wrapped his arms around my waist.

As he backed away he pleaded my forehead on mine.

" I love you " Gene whispered.

" I love you too "

" Please don't go " He whimpered.

" I will never leave you " I kissed his lips again.

After that moment the next morning it was still lightly raining, Lucas was turning five the next month.
