Was he destined to kill her? He didn't want to lose her again. He'd rather fight her forever instead of kill her. But their they stood. Her holding his staff against his neck while he laid a victim beneath her. A crazed look in her eyes with a caring, concerned look too.
"Any last words Chat Noir?" She glared straight into his soul.
He sighed, grabbing the staff and using it to pine her down. He was on top of her as she squirmed. "I love you." He placed his lips on hers as a last resort besides Cataclysm. He needed her to turn back. Plagg told him to instead of Cataclysm. Maybe he remembered like he did. She struggled under him but soon melted into the kiss as the Akuma came out of her chest white. He let go of the kiss and looked down at her while she turned from Ladybug into Marinette. She didn't look like the real Ladybug though. No one saw it but Chat since he blocked her face. He covered her up and carried her back to her house.
"C-Chat, what happened to me?" She stuttered and looked at him. He nervously scratched the back of his neck. They both sat on her bed.
"You got akumatized and I fought you for like two days and I missed you so much Princess!" He hugged her and she blushed and hugged him back. "Oh, and I uhm, had to kiss you to break the curse." He nervously laughed and she pushed him away.
"You what!" She yelled, boiling. His eyes widened.
"It was the only way or I could have used Cataclysm on you! Would you rather kiss me or die!"
"Oh, die of course." She rolled her eyes and he laughed, her soon joining.
"You're weird Princess." He kissed her cheek, making her blush. Why did she move on from Adrien so fast?
"Th-thanks." She blushed harder and he smirked.
"Why're you so red? Is this cat in your heart?"
"What no! You're insane. Besides, Ladybug is in your heart." Right, Ladybug. He knew. He wished he didn't.
"Ladybug is amazing, like you." He smiled and she blushed harder.
"Stop it you dumb cat," she muttered under her breath then yawned. "You should get home. You have to be tired."
He tucked her in under her sheets and kissed her forehead, making her blush more. He moved a strand of hair behind her ear as she closed her eyes. "Good night Princess." He jumped out of the window and went home.
