I know that something that I use to struggle with was knowing what Gods voice sounded like? I wanted to hear his voice. And I thought, that I wasn't hearing his voice. But the truth was that I wasn't really listening.
God is speaking to us constantly. Every decision we make he is speaking to us. Whenever we are thinking about doing something he is putting in his input. The truth is that most of the time it's us, we are the problem. We are not listening.
Gods voice honestly just sounds like our thoughts. So, some may say that is is hard to pick out what God is speaking to us and what isn't Gods.
The truth is that: if it's a good thought, it's Gods. If it's a bad thought it's either ours or Satans.
We simply just have to open up to his voice. We have listen and be ready to take action upon hearing his words.
A word that I got from God recently was. It's all good if you hear my voice, but it means nothing if you don't do anything about it.

We are hearing God and the Holy Spirit speak to us all the time. Constantly. But it means nothing if we don't act on the words that he says.
