As we entered Paris, the car stopped right in front of a bakery, which is why we moved here in the first place.

"Ok, so this is the bakery, but where are we gonna live at?" I asked.

"This is where were gonna live at Mari." My dad replied. "It's more than just a bakery sweetie, there's your room upstairs and our-" my dad began to explain once he saw the shocked expression on my face, but I cut him off.

"So we're living in a bakery?" I asked. He nodded yes.

I helped my parents bring the boxes into into our new house. As I walked in, the first thing I noticed was a flight of stairs which I'm assuming will lead to my room. I carried my stuff up the stairs and stopped short at the door above my head.

"Is this my room or an attic? Why is the door on the ceiling?" I asked myself as I continued to open the door. It was a large empty space, a lot bigger than my old room. I put my stuff in a corner and walked down the stairs.

"Can I go walk around?" I asked my mom. She nodded and offered me a croissant which I gladly accepted.

I walked around the streets of Paris which were full of people, none of which I knew. As I reached the park, I saw a bunch of cameras surrounding the water fountain. I walked over to see what was going on, and in the center was a blonde - might I say a very hot blonde - boy. Across from me I saw another boy - wearing a red hat on his head, headphones around his neck, and black glasses on his face -who was also staring at the blonde with all the cameras on him. I walked over to the teenager and sat down on the bench next to him.

"Um, hi, I'm Marinette, I just moved here" I said.

"Hey dude, I'm Nino, welcome to Paris!" He replied.

"Who's the cute- I mean blonde boy with the cameras on him?" I asked.

"So you think my bro is cute?" He asked. I blushed a deep red.

"I, uh-"

"That's Adrien Agreste, he's a model" Nino said. "I could ask him out for you!" Nino said.

"Oh, um, I mean I don't even know him! In fact, I don't even know you, so, maybe that's not a good idea." I said. I awkwardly stared at Adrien for a few more minuetes.

"So, uh, do you go to Collège François Dupont?" I asked, trying to make conversation.

"Yeah bro, is that the school your going to?" He asked.

"Um, yeah," I replied as I checked the time. "I, uh, gotta go, see you tomorrow?" I asked.

"Bye dude!" He said as I walked away, my eyes still locked on the blonde boy. He looked back at me and I didn't even notice that I stopped walking. Once I noticed I looked away and continued to walk to the bakery.

The bell rang as I walked in and I noticed that the chairs were already set up - with people already sitting in them, enjoying there snacks - and snacks were already set up in the counter that was empty last time I saw it. I walked up to the counter that my mom was standing behind.

"Hey mom, I see your already set up." I said.

"Yep, and me and your father wanted to finish putting everything else up, but we need someone to work the counter." My mom said.

"Of course I'll do it!" I said once I got what she was hinting at.

"Thanks Mari!" She said as she left to go to the living room and I took her spot behind the counter.

The next hour was very uneventful. A few customers came in, but it was our first day so not that many people knew about it. So far Paris isn't that bad. I met a friend, Nino, and saw a very hot guy, Adrien. Did I mention that Adrien was hot? I stared at a wall as I daydreaming about the hot blonde until I noticed the time, closing time. I walked over to door and flipped the closing sign to off. I turned around to get the key and heard the bell ring, signaling that someone entered the bakery.

"We're closed right now, please come back tomorrow" I said before turning around and blushing a deep red.

"Oh, um, ok, see you tomorrow then" He said as he turned around to leave.

"Wait!" I called out. He turned around and stared into my eyes with his breathtaking green eyes. "I could keep it open for a little longer!" I said. Adrien gave me a shy smile.

"Thank you, uh-"

"Marinette!" I told him.

"Thanks Marinette!" He continued. "So, what do you recommend?" He asked.

"My favorite would probably be the (some type of treat because I can't think of anything other than cookies and croissants)" I suggested.

"I'll take one of those to go then" He said with a smile. I frowned at him.

"You don't have to go, if you want you can stay, but you don't have to, I mean if you really want to leave you can leave, it's your choice, but I can keep the place open if you want!" I rambled on. I gave him a huge awkward smile.

"I'd love to stay!" He said as I handed him his snack. He sat at one of the many seat and I went over and sat with him.

"So, Adrien, do you go to Collège François Dupont?" I asked. He frowned as I mentioned his name.

"So you've heard of me?" He asked, a hint of sadness could be heard in his voice.

"Um, i, uh" I mumbled in confusion. I wasn't very sure exactly what he was asking.

"You've seen the magazines and your a fan of Adrien Agreste?" He asked, adding sarcastic jazz hands as he said his name.

"No, I've actually never heard of you before today when I asked Nino who you are and he told me." I replied. I saw a smile tugged at his lips.

"Oh, well uh, yes I do go to Collège François Dupont!" He said.

"Well, since this bakery is the only new place I've seen tonight, I'm guessing your the new girl who moved here from New York, right?" He asked.

"Yep!" I replied.

He turned on his phone and looked at the time. "Well princess, I'd love to hang around, but I've got somewhere to be!" He said.

"Oh crap, so do I!" I said once I saw the time myself. I suddenly realized what he called me and blushed a deep red.

"B-bye A-adrien!" I said cheerfully.

"Bye Mari! See you tomorrow" He said as he exited the bakery, the bell ringing as he opened it. A stared at the door for a moment and sighed.

"I ship it!" My mom said as she walked from the living room and into the bakery. I blushed even redder than I already was.

"W-what?" I asked.

"You and that Adrien boy, you two already seem perfect for each other!" My dad said as he walked out of the living room after her.

"I, uh, I'm gonna go to sleep." I said as I rushed to my room.

Maybe Paris won't be that bad.
