Luke's POV
It's been two days since Sarah blacked out. I haven't left her room since then. Brenda walks in and sits opposite of me. "Get some sleep Luke" she says "no I'm fine I don't need to sleep" I tell her yet in about to pass out from exhaustion. "Just sleep you need it I'll keep watch in Sarah. If anything happens I'll wake you" she tells me as I drift off to sleep where I meet up with Sarah once again.
Brenda's POV
It's been a day since Luke feel asleep and he's still sleeping! I watch as his jaw tenses and relaxes, how his muscles moved with such grace as he moved around. He woke up once because he was to hot I guess and took off his damn shirt! he then jut feel back asleep. I listened to his soft snores then he mumbled something about Sarah. As I watch he starts to mumble more "Mmm Sa Sarah I love you" I'm shocked and he keeps mumbling as I zone out. I get thinking Luke may be better for Sarah than Bryce. Bryce is a big ass baby who can't handle himself in a fight and one of us kids has to swoop in and save his ass. I prefer Luke because he can fight and hunt. He can take care of himself and is pretty awesome. "Sarah will you marry me?" he mumbles and I just get a huge grin on my face. "What did he just say?" I hear a croak and I look at Sarah and she's awake. She's not a zombie. She's here in flesh and blood, her face flushed now and breathing fine. "He said will you marry him. He's sleeping though" I tell her as I sit next to her and brush her hair out of her face. She sits up with some help from me "how Lin have I been out?" she asks. "Your been out for almost four days" I tell her softly. I'm a few years older than her but she's still the leader. "Days" she repeats softly and looks into space.
