Chapter 9: Immune

Sarah's POV

So Brenda to me that I've been out for days. Last thing I remember is I pulled Luke down and kissed him. Now I'm laying in bed with Luke still sleeping. I shake him softly. Ever since I woke up I've been full of energy. He wakes up dazed "huh wh- what" he slurs and I giggle "hey sleepy head how are you?" I ask softly running a hand through his short hair. He bolts up immediately and sits next to me eyes widened with fear lacing them. "It's ok I'm not a zombie and this isn't a dream" I reassure him and he nods his head. "Immune" he mumbles. "What?" I ask. "I had a dream you were immune to zombie bite and could heal anyone who you... well umm you.... kissed them. And then they turned back. Even if they were already zombies and half of them gone they healed instantly and became human again. You saved the world and became a famous person" he explains and I laugh a little bit. "Like that would happen" I say. "Yeah... but your awake and not dead right now so there's a start" he says as I get up and change into some dearly needed clean clothes. I feel him watching me as I pull my shirt over my head, I turn an look at him; smirking. "Someone's checking me out" I say and he just nods I keep my back to him and get I to my dresser where I put my clothes. I grab a new pair of undergarments and a v neck shirt with some jean shorts and my sneakers. I take off my pants and panties and put the new ones on. I slip off my bra and put my new one on along with my shirt. The sleeve sea off my shoulder a bit but it fits well other than that. I slip on my sneakers an sit down next to him again. Then that's when we hear a scream an a gun goes off.
