Chapter 3: Is This JUST a Solo?

*Niall's POV*

I was nearly late for class! Thinking about the gorgeous god I ran into slowed me down. I wonder if he likes me. He was staring at me for quite some time. Gah what am I thinking he's obviously straight. He can get any girl he wants. Heck he could even get Katy Perry as a girlfriend. I'm wasting my time! I need to focus on my classes. Producing music, that's what I need to be, even If I need to get pass those extra classes, math, english, history.. You get the idea.

"Mr. Horan.. MR.HORAN!" Wh..what.... "oh.. M..Mr. Tollin I..i...uh...im sorry?" Oh great what will he say?? A simple sorry probably won't get me out of trouble for spacing out. "I don't appreciate you being distracted in my class. I don't care if you're the top student in the school, you know better than to.." RIIING

So this is what it's like to be saved by the bell. "Tomorrow you will do better Horan" Tollin exclaimed, walking towards his desk. I gathered all of my supplies, shoved them in my bag, and walked quickly to my next class which was Choir. The only bad thing is that I have class with Liam Payne. He's part of the reason why my life is a living hell. Imagine going to school and getting a morning punch in the face and stomach, afternoon beat up, then right when I leave a punch in the face. Hell. That's the best word to describe this life I am living. Even so Liam is an amazing singer and..to be honest, and I hate to admit it, I have a crush on him. Crazy huh... Having a crush on someone who wants to make me kill myself. "I just hope I don't see him" I mumble to myself. "See who mate?" Louis came rushing up besides me putting his arm over my shoulder. "Hey Lou. C'mon if we don't hurry we'll be late and i'm not covering for you this time" I exclaimed. He has been my one and only friend for so long I can't even remember. He's straight and dating a girl named Eleanor. She's super sweet and knows just what to say to put a smile on my face, even if it's a small smile.

Weird.. I didn't see Liam in the hallway. Normally he comes to me, shoves me into the locker, laughs and leaves. I'm not complaining i'm glad he didn't show up. It's just not something I'm used to.

"Snap out of it Ni! Ms. Rosenberry is talking." Wow I was thinking so much I hadn't realized I was sitting in my chair in class. Stuff happens so quickly hehe.

"Okay class todaay we are going to start practicing a favorite song of mine. Before you all groan, no it is not a song from when I was a kid in 1975. It's actually a new song from a very popular group that I think most of are aware of. We will be singing Half a Heart by One Direction!!" My heart almost stopped. I LOVE that band!! I know all their songs, I know the lyrics by heart. I had to cover my mouth so that I don't squeel out of excitement!!

"Does anybody already know the song and want a solo?" I slowly raised my hand so that I don't get made fun of even more than I already do. "Ah!! Mr..eh.. Horan? Correct? Which part would you like?" I already knew!! Since I have the biggest crush on one of the members, i'll sing his part. "I would like to sing Niblah's part" I said cheerfully.

That's when the devil himself walked into class. Liam. Right when I thought I'd have a decent day he shows up. "So faggot boy is singing Niblah's part eh? Figures a low life like you would choose to sing a low life's part" he said grinning. I didn't say anything back..god knows I want to though. Sometimes I wish I could punch that smug face of his. Instead of looking like a puppy he'll look like a goldfish. I chuckled inside my mind at my own nerdy joke.

"Who would like the other solo's? I need four more volunteers or else i'll choose" that's when two boys, one being Louis and the other.. I think his name was Harry. I looked to the other side of the room and saw that Liam had his hand raised. He turned his head grinned at me, then turned back. Okaay that was weird. "One more person. Anyone?" She had a sad look In her brown eyes. "Alright then, I suppose I have to choose. hmm let's see. Ahh Mr.Malik."

He raised his hand and that's when

I almost died. That gorgeous, most beautiful boy I saw this morning was, ironicly, in my class. I could feel my cheeks burn like they did earlier. Just imagine the things he could do to me.. GAH brain what are you thinking!!!! You don't know him and he doesn't know you. Let's just leave it like that.

"Okay class everyone else will sing together when the chorus part of the song. Louis what part will you be singing?" Louis looked nervous. I could tell he just raised his hand so he could sing with me. I quickly  whispered a name into his ear and he smiled. "I'll sing Loblah's part" He gave me a thumbs up which was his way of thanking me

"And Harry what about you?" He picked up his head from the table and said "harblah." Someone's tired today. "Liam?" He looked up from his phone and said "Liblah."

There's only one explanation for him knowing his name, and that is he looked up his name on the internet. Sneaky little bastard.

"Okay Malik that leaves you with Zablah's part. Is that alright with you?" She had a worried look now, like she was afraid he'll say no and she'll have to randomly pick. Oh the stress she must feel to pick a name knowing you might get yelled at because you picked them.

Malik just nodded his head in agreement. I wonder what his first name is. Might be sexy unff i'd kill to be his, just so he could hold me tight everyday.

"eh..Ni I know you want that but school comes first." Lou said sassily. Was I talking out loud!! Oh god how embaressing can that be and geez sometimes it's hard to tell he's straight. I bet if he was a gps voice he'd say something like this "No you went the wrong way left.. No your left omg you're so stupid I want to hit you with my new prada bag" I chuckled again. I'm such a nerd hehee
