"You poked his nose and said 'Boop? Classic!" rose laughed at me. "Come one, rose! I didn't kbiw what I was thinking! We were in a tree. Just talking and retrieving a book. If he kissed me, I would have lost all sense of life that exists and fallen to my death!" she just continued to laugh.
How magnificent!
So I stopped talking to her and buried my face intobmy notebook, writing.

I quickly and swiftly focus on my feet

Where there is no expression that I have to meet

Though as I gaze into those bright eyes

Where a magnetic pull is hiding in disguise

I struggle to get loose from the depths of attraction

But its difficult, you see, to proceed the action

Of course it hits me,

like being swept in a tsunami

Because like quicksand, I can't get away

Even if I tried both night and day

Rose looked over my shoulder as I was focused in my poem more than anything.
"That is the second one you wrote about him, Scotland."

"Gee, Snoopy!"
I said, closing my notebook.
"Sorry. Just had to see what was on your mind."
She plopoed down on her bed and I sat next to her.
"I should've kissed him, I know. But I think its best that I play like a difficult and stubborn girl. I deserve it, as well. I let France and Germany take a hold of my obedience and tgriw it away but here. I want to make it the best."
She laughed. And yes, I was still talking to myself but she didn't know that.
I tendto say things that don't really make any sense at tines. Though I know what I'm trying to say, my words just get lost in my mind. The reason why I don't want to be a lawyer, but then again as you kbiw, I have no choice whatsoever.

"The next time the time comes, do it." rose tells her. Scotland laughs. She decided to let go of Jess.
Jess is in the past. Now its Charlie.
Later, rose and Scotland sneak out to the cave in the woods with the other boys for the meeting. They were messing around and being stupid. Finally as the meeting began, Scotland was as happy as could be.
Charlie played the saxophone, which of course, Scotland was itching to feel the cold metal of that instrument, but urged herself to hold back.
Then as they were talking, the boys were looking at a magazines rose and Scotland knew was a really pictures of attractive woman with nothing but makeup on their faces. And rose spoke. "You should read them that one poem you wrote earlier." says she, with bright eyes urging me to do so. I am supprized t her thought. "Hell no! He is smart and will know what I'm talking about." rose laughs, and I catch Charlie looking my direction with that difficult smirk on his face that makes me feel somewhat... I don't know. Its Charlie! I have a difficult time looking his direction let alone him catching my eye.
I look away instantly at rose. "Hell no." I repeat, making sure she heard me. Being the tough and difficult girl she is, she suddenly takes my notebook and opens it to the page I recently wrote.
"Scotland wrote this little poem recently. Its really good. " suddenly, all eyes were on her. Smiles on ther faces, except for Todd Anderson. He seemed like he knew from the look in my eyes that I didn't really want to share. But that was okay. I realized I would be considered a scaredy cat by rose for the rest of my life so I went ahead.
"Okay. .. Here it is..." I say.
Everyone seemed intrigued. So I read my recent poem to them. At the end, their was silence, waiting for more words to form. Realizing that I was done, they clapped, hooted and hollered, making Indian sounds. Really excited about a really nice poem they heard. Especially Charlie, who seemed to have gotten the message. His mischievous grin turned sweet. He stood up in the middle of the cave to say something.
"Beautiful poem Scotland." he said, holding his saxophone and Playing as he spoke.
"I just wanted to say, ..... Its been a few days since school started......
And I am happy to say....
That I have found something that I know could switch my life around.....
If I could just make her happy with me. ...
If she would let me love her....
I would try to please her, .....
Try to.... Use my words in.... Ways to catch her in my arms!.... To find her to be mine would be a dream come true....." as Charlie spoke, Scotland had realized he was tAlking to her. She smiled, her face as red as a tomato.
Then suddenly, out if nowhere, Charlie planted a kiss onto Scotland's lips hard. As suprized as she was, she could still feel her toes. Her heart raced a thousand miles an hour.as everyone hustled out of the cave, and Charlie walked backwards playing some random tunes, keeping his eyes glued to Scotland. She followed and Charlie grabbed her hand. The feeling that arose inside her was bubbling. but she wanted to toy with it just for fun. Charlie stopped walking and so did she. In front of the whole clan, Scotland inched forward closer to Charlie's face with a cute smile on her face. She could see beads of sweat forming on Charlie's forehead as she krept closer. Laughing, she immediately snatched Charlie's saxophone from his hands and backed away. Charlie was mystified and ashamed that he fell for a trick as such.
He just stood there as everyone around him laughed and spoke. Scotland felt the cold metal on her fingers. A touch she has longed for all summer long and without hesitation, she played a joyful and jazzy tune she didn't even know.
