Reunion of Izanagi and Izanami

" Cosmo. I mean Izanami." Tanaki's voice called out to Cosmo.
"Where are you? I'm came here looking for you." She yelled back.
"But didn't you come here, because you had a quarrel with your beloved Pan?"
"Yeah, but furthermore for you."
"For me?"
"Yeah, I knew you were planning to die out on the field. You knew the next dimension was the core right? Once you get killed, you knew we would rush here into the other dimension but if I entered it with Pan. I would stay as Cosmo right? Not your Izanami. You knew I could be in control if I were with him right?"
"My, my! It was also because if Pan entered the heart of the realm, he'd die."
"What do you mean?" Cosmo was shocked.
"Once Pan gets here, his true self would be known, letting the Gods come after him and then, all the three of us would be found out. He could easily kill any of them, given his power of destruction but didn't you realised yet? How selfish are you, my love? Your power that he can control would slowly eat him up and with nothing but darkness, he'd only disappear into nothing but dust and that dust would further go to your lovely home, the Yomitsu Kuni."
"Why Izanagi, why didn't you tell us about yourself? You knew all this would happen don't you? Do you want to kill me to save everything, if so I am ready but I know Pan is on his way so please before he can enter this dimension, stop all of this."
"Well, the realm itself has told him everything except he is coming here with a fear that I might have found you and would be trying to kill you, but that's not it."
"What?"
"Well, I'm not here to kill you anymore."
"What do you mean, anymore?"
"I intended to kill you since the beginning but as I travelled from one dimension to the next, I realised why I fell in love with you in the first place, but I also realised how much things have changed."
"What has change?"
"Everything is out of order indeed. As destined, we were suppose to fall in love with me but ever since this realm was created, there has been nothing but chaos in both worlds. Time is moving fast and the world is changing. The future in the real world sure is doomed. You fell in love with Pan ever since the day you saw him in your imaginations right? Far more than you ever loved me?" Tanaki's eyes were filled with tears.
"What are you saying? Don't cry, how are you going to kill me then? If you don't kill me, these kids cannot go back to the real world and if that happens, there surely would be no future."
"Its of no use. It's too late, even though these children now know what their responsibilities are in the real world and who they are, it's too late for them. The void has already swallowed them all and I can no longer kill you, instead if you really want to save everything you have to kill me."
"What? No. I can never kill you!"
"Why? You were killing everything till now without a single ounce of fear or guilt. Why are you hesitating now that everything can be set right?"
"Izanagi." Cosmo had tears rolling down her cheeks too.
She took her hand and placed it on Tanaki's face, she gently touched his cheeks with love.
"Izanami, is that you?" Tanaki softly spoke to her.
"Why did you do this? Why did you create this realm? Why did you try to repeat history again?" She said as she wept.
"History? It's no longer repeating. I've learned that the past can never be brought back and there are somethings we need to accept."
"How can I kill you? Why should I kill you?"
"You have to kill me to destroy this realm. I created this mess. You have to kill me because the girl inside of you, Cosmo loves someone very dearly."
"Destroying this realm won't bring those children back and how can the realm disappear just because you die?"
"You know that a fragment can't be destroyed unless it's creator is killed right? If you get killed, the underworld maybe gone and the children would be set free but this realm would exist, as long as this realm exists there will be more children coming here in the future causing more trouble, destroying most things that are important. In the beginning didn't you think that it was odd that I didn't have a fragment following me? Well, it was always following me just that you didn't see it because we were on it. This entire realm, is my fragment."
"What?"
"And only you, the Goddess of the underworld can kill its creator. Please kill me, so everyone can be set free, so that I can be set free from this pain of seeing you love someone else."

Cosmo felt to the ground.

"Izanami? Hey! Cosmo? What's wrong?"
"Open your eyes!"
" Hey, why did your heart stop beating? Hey, wake up!"
