We met up exactly as planned. We grabbed our equipment and headed back across the border, proceeding on toward where I had seen the explosion earlier. We walked with caution as we made our way to where we had marked the path. "Nicole?" he asked suddenly.

"What?' I replied, making sure I was staying quiet.

"Are you sure you want to do this?"

"Yes"

As we made our way through the very large field, I took note of all the rocks so hopefully I wouldn't trip and fall. We must have been walking for a while because the sun was already starting to rise. "How long do think it will take for them to notice we're gone?" I asked curiously.

"They may never notice," he said coldly, "and if they do, they'll probably be throwing a party."

"I guess you're right. No one ever cared about us anyway."

"It's not that no one ever cared, it's that since we've been causing trouble ever since what happened..."

"Can we not talk about this now?" I cut him off. "We're on a mission."

"You're right. Let's go."

We continued to walk along the path for quite some time. I hadn't realized how far away the explosion came from. All I knew was that I was going to investigate. Micheal and I were exhausted by the time we saw a building in the distance.

"Let's set up camp here" I declared, nearly collapsing.

"All right. I'll set up the tent and you can go find some branches for a fire."

"OK! Be back in a bit!" I said, grabbing my bow.

I wandered around for the forest for a while, picking up firewood. The sun was setting, and I knew we had to light a fire soon. I loaded my bow and carefully pointed it at the lucky squirrel that was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Just as I was about to take my shot, it started making its way up a tree. I shot my arrow and there, in front of me, was the squirrel hanging on the tree by its tail.

I made my way back to our camp and called to Micheal, "We're eatin' good tonight!" I held the squirrel up so he could see.

"Sweetness!" He exclaimed. "Let's get a fire going so we can cook that thing!"

We sat around the fire for a while enjoying our roasted squirrel. We then decided we should get some rest for the long day ahead of us. Tomorrow we should be able to make it to the mysterious buildings off in the distance. I did't know where this journey was going to take us, whether we were going to get killed or not, or even if the explosion was from something that would be part of our adventure. All I knew was that Micheal and I were going to have the best adventure ever, and that it will truly be something that neither of us will ever forget.
