You groan and shift. Were you dead? Honestly, your head pulsated with the slightest of movements leading you to think you might not have been dead. That fall must have killed you. With how long the fall felt, it might have killed you out of boredom! Hopefully Frisk didn't die from that fall...

A small tug at the collar of your sweater made you squint your eyes open, adjusting your blury vision to the dark cavern. Panic settles in, twisting your stomach in its killer fists. You gasp loudly and fling yourself up into a sitting position all aches and pains temporarily forgotten. Fluffy golden flowers had dampened your fall into nothing more than a harsh trip. Something you were quite used to being a naturally clumsy person yourself.

You had survived. No lost pieces, nor broken bones. Maybe a bump or bruise here or there. Sighing quickly, you glance around in the dim darkness of the cave. To your left was Frisk, alive and well, albeit a few scratches were on their knees. Nothing a bandage from your trusty pack couldn't fix. The right side of the cave had a small pathway wide enough an elephant to pass through it. You couldn'tsee any further into the darkness than a few feet.

Frisk kneeled next to you with both tiny hands up ready to steady you, a concerned glaze in their sweet eyes. You were glad that gentle pair of eyes were staring back at you full of determination. Someone was going to need it if you guys were going to get out of this mess.

You made eye contact with them. A gentle sigh escapes your lungs as you stand slowly, body aching with every push upward. Your head learched and a sudden nausea had to be  harshly bitten back by a big gulp of air. Puking definitely wouldn't your situation right now.

Frisk clings to your side as they lead you off of the surprisingly still perky flower patch. "How are we going to get out of here?" You mumble, glance up at the origin of the fall, a now small hole on the barely visible ceiling. It couldn't have been more than 30 feet above you. Climbing was not possible because it wasn't safe. There was no other means of escape other than moving farther away from where you started. This didnt settle well with you. Definitely no way you and Frisk were making it back out that way, so onward you must go.
