Shadewillow twitched her tail-tip angrily. she had padded away from shadowbriar, and was now hunting; well, trying to. that could have gone  very bad back there, she thought. shadowbriar had almost figured out about Dog. what will i do when my kits are born?  she wondered. no one would accept them. she figured at least one would be a calico... how will i explain their coloring?  she shook her head. now was not the time to be worrying about that. her clan needed prey. she raised her nose to the air and sniffed. what is that ?   she wondered as she caught a strange scent. it smelled.... like cats, but definetely not CloudClan cats. she narrowed her eyes and followed the trail, but she soon found the tracks were washed over by the river. "i might was well hunt," she told herself, since she was by the river and all.

shadewillow padded back into camp, but instantly knew something was wrong. there was a large crowd in the center of camp. her whiskers quivered nervously as cloudstar padded up to her, stiff legged. he didnt stop until he was a mouse length from her face. then he hissed, "why did you leave shadowbriar on patrol by himself? he just became a warrior a few moons ago! you shouldnt have left your patrol. and why do you have a fish? you know its getting to be leaf-bare. we have to leave the fish-"

"im sorry, ok! shadowbriar was pressing me on mouse-brained things. i needed some time to go and think. and, i have a fish because i was near the river!" oh no, i shouldnt have said that last part.

"near the river?  do you know how cold it is! you could get sick, and we dont need to be wasting our herbs so early. what were you thinking? no. you weren't thinking at all. -" cloudstar abruptly stopped when  silentwhisper's voice rang around the camp,

 "STOP!"
