It was New Years Day and the ED was extremely following last nights antics.
"Good Morning Staff Nurse Masters - You're late!"
She shouted across the moment, he walked through the double doors into the overrun ED.
"Now we have a patient in cubicles, with a broken arm. Would you mind seeing to him please?" Stated Connie.
He didn't look impressed. He was hoping to have an easy day. Sitting in the office, doing paperwork nursing his hangover from last night with Cal. Jacob walks into his office, where he finds paperwork all over his desk wishing he finished it before he left last night. He puts on his nurses uniform; a white overall with dark blue trousers and black shoes.
"Jacob! patient with the broken arm?" Connie shouted to him when looking into his office
"Yes, I'm now going" He replied quickly.
Jacob rushed off to find his patient. On arrival, he found an old gentleman, wearing a ripped red t-shirt, blue pair of jeans and no shoes laying on the bed clutching hold to his arm.
"Morning Ethan, what do we have then" Jacob asked.
"Here we have, Lewis Ward , 82 years old, suspected broken arm. He fell off a chair. He's had 2mg of Paracetamol and still awaiting for results from X-Ray" Ethan said with confidence
"Okay, Mr Ward, I'm Staff Nurse Masters but you can call me Jacob, have you got any pain anywhere else?" Jacob asked politely
"No! I'm fine, just want to get out of this place ASAP!" He rudely shouted to them both
"Okay, Mr Ward, we're sure you'll be on your way soon" Ethan said without hesitating
Outside the corridor, Cal and Alicia was messing around. Much to Ethan's delight
"Cal, stop it! We're not at home now" Alisha tried to tell him
"No, but I'm so happy and I want everyone to know..!" Cal replied excitedly
Ethan walks out into the corridor and overhears what Cal said. Ethan walks up to him rather promptly.
"Want everyone to know what?!" Ethan interrupts
