"Amanda, you up?" Todd's voice came and I broke out of my reverie and said," Just a minute. Let me freshen up!" Five minutes later I came out of the bathroom and saw Todd holding a tray of food for me. The smell of food made me realize just how hungry I was. I smiled at Todd. He was the only friend who has been with me through all this. Day in and day out he listened to my problems and I knew he would be there for me till the end. But lately there was a change in him. He just looked at me differently or was it just me? "I know how u like your eggs so I decided to make them so your sister could go to work early," he said. "Thanks." My hands a little shaky, I took the tray from his hands and put them down at the side table. I wrapped my arms around his shoulders and gave him a hug. I really needed that.
