Chapter 8

Natasha POV

"Okay how about this, we have two teams the girls and the boys. We have a series of mini competitions, and which ever team wins the most, well wins!" Yelena proposed.

"Okay then, so what are the mini comps going to be?" I asked.

"Well you see I have a few ideas." Yelena replied.

"Take it away..." I suggested.

The first mini competition Yelena came up with was a massive bouncy castle obstacle course.

"Okay teams decide who you are going to submit for this game. Remember you can only submit each person once for one round." Yelena announced.

"Okay so who is up for this one?" I asked the girls in our little huddle.

"I'll do it!" Nika announced excitedly. "I'm going to beat the crap out of the boys!"

"Okay then Nika it is." Yelena announced. "Okay boys which one of you is going up against Nika?"

"I am." Sam said while stepping forward and facing Nika.

"Okay let the course begin in... three...two" I said while getting ready to shoot the gun.

Bang! I shot the gun signalling the start.

Both Sam and Nika were scrambling for the end trying to collect the teams coloured flags, Pink for us girls and Blue for the boys.

The first one to cross the finish was Nika collecting 3 out of 3 flags for our team and Sam finished with 2 out of the 3 flags for the boys.

"Yaaaaaay! Whoop whoop!" All us girls cheered while given high fives to each other.

"Okay up next is..." Yelena started.

We finished our mini competitions and we're waiting for the results. Yelena considering she came up with the idea, was waiting to reveal the winners. "Okay and the winning team is... THE GIRLS!"
"Wooooohoooooo!!!!" We all screamed.

In the end all the boys started stripping of the clothes and jumped into the pool in the most goofiest way possible to make it even more horrible for them.

"AHHH it's so cold!" Scott screamed like a girl.

"Baby!" I shouted back at him. Before running, jumping and doing a cannonball into the pool.

After 20 minutes Yelena swam up to me.
"Look at you, admiring him!"

"What!? What are you on about?" I stuttered.

"You have been looking at him for the past 20 minutes. You were even looking at him earlier while we were on the sun beds." Yelena said to me while also looking in Steve's direction.

"No I haven't." I said firmly.

"Yes you have." Yelena replied. "Look if you don't ask him out I'll do it for you, it's clear you like each other, I'm sure he would say yes."

"No Yelena I told you love is for children." I replied coming up with an excuse that I was still so naive to believe in.

"Okay you keep telling yourself that." She said before swimming off.
