Chapter 8: The Portal

"K-Keith.." I kept mumbling his name in my sleep "I'm here Angel." He was holding my hand when I woke up "How are you feeling." "I'm feeling a bit better..." My heart rate was back to normal now "Good. Leonids and I got worried about you." "I'm sorry." "Angel, the tournament in Alpha city is coming up. Do you think you'll be well enough to do it?" I nodded "Sure, I'm up for it. I'm all fired up!" {I really wanted to do a fairy tail reference} I giggled and Keith chuckled "Get some rest. You have a long day tomorrow." Keith put on his mask and became Spectra once more. The next day, I got ready for the tournament "You ready Leonids?" "I'm always ready Angel. Just don't over exert yourself." "I know. I'm battling with Volt again. I'll cream whoever versus us. Even if it means I battle Shun and Ace." The time had finally come and I had to battle Shun and Ace "Gauntlet Power strike! Gate card set! Bakugan brawl! Bakugan stand! Go Darkus Leonids!" The crowd cheered and it felt awesome. Everyone threw down their Bakugan "Double ability activate! Cosmic tornado plus burning Dragon!" My ability hit both Ingram and Percival making their power levels drop to 200Gs each "How do you like that!" I smiled at Shun and he smiled back "Well played but Ability activate! Shadow Echo!" "Not good enough! Triple ability activate! Cosmic tornado plus burning Dragon plus fusion ability Darkness wave!" "Can you believe it! Dark Angel used a triple ability! How amazing!" The announcer cheered
~Time skip to the end of the battle~
"The winners are Volt and Dark Angel!" The crowd cheered. The system that kept the Bakugan in ball form busted since it overloaded "Leo! Save everyone in here!" Leo nodded and helped everyone. The other Bakugan that were freed helped as well. "Shun! Ace! Nice going." I went up to them "Thanks. I need to ask you something. Why did you break up with Dan. He's so heartbroken." I sighed "He deserves someone better then me. That's all I have to say in this matter Shun." I left and went to Spectra "Nice job today. You did great." I smiled "Th-thanks.." I then collapsed. But, before I could fall, Spectra caught me "I told you not to over exert yourself." He sighed and I woke up "I'm sorry... I felt fine before." "It's ok. Are you able to walk?" I nodded and walked slowly into his ship. The ship took off and we went back to Beta City. "Spectra, Dark Angel, this is getting out of control! I know you won the battle but look at what happened. You know what, get rid of Dan and the Dragonoid will be mine. Get it done you two." Hydron ended the call "Spoiled brat." I clenched my fist "I wish I could just pound him." Spectra smiled "We will one day. I promise you that." Later that night, we heard someone's voice "No way Runo?! Is she? Oh no. She's using doctor Micheal's transporter to get here! Spectra, we need to go check it out. Runo's my friend and if the transport doesn't work, she'll be stuck between dimensions!" I started to run out of the room but Spectra grabbed my hand "No, you're staying here. If something happens to you, I don't know what I'd do.." "I have to go." I then teleported myself to Runo's location "Runo!" She ran to me so I could hug her but she phased right through me "You're stuck between dimensions..." Doctor Micheal then spoke and told us to go to a portal that he opened. I was going to go with them but I got teleported to Spectra "That was very risky what you did. Don't scare me like that." I looked down. "I'm sorry." We all went to where the portal was together and Spectra, Gus and I went in with Lync. Dan, Mira and Baron went in after Runo. "Ah!!! Oh no! My body! It's Ah!!!"
