Chapter 29: Phantom Data

When I saw the light, I started crying. I had feared that Drago was gone and hoping that I wasn't right. The next thing I know, Drago came back down but he looked different "Drago! You evolved! That's amazing!" We all ran to him. Spectra then left "Keith! I thought you promised..." I looked down. I was upset that Keith didn't join the resistance. We all then decided to go back to Earth. When got back, I decided to go into Bakugan interspace to get some battling in. Marucho noticed that there was some phantom data in the system that was never there before "Fabia... What's happened in Neathia.." I had whispered that to myself. We had all gone in and went into the battle room "Guys, I'm battling first." Dan nodded and then, three Bakugan showed up and I recognized all of them "Aranaut! Hawktor! Aquamos! Coredem! But how." Dan looked at me "You know these Bakugan?" "Yes I do. But it looks like they're just virtual versions of them. I'm going to battle one of them." Suddenly, a virtual self of me appeared. Then, Hawktor came up to me. "Let's do this! Gauntlet! Power strike! Gate card set! Bakugan brawl! Bakugan stand! Go Darkus Leonids!" Virtual me then threw down Hawktor . "Ability activate! Cosmic tornado!" "Ability activate! Ventus wing shot!" Virtual me had done that ability but it wasn't good enough "Double ability activate! Burning Dragon plus fusion ability Darkness striker!" The ability hit Hawktor and he went into ball form
~Time skip to end of the battle~
"Goodbye Hawktor. Notify Fabia about me. I want her to know that we got her message." I smiled as Hawktor disappeared "Angel! Nice job." Dan came up to me "Thanks Dan." The battle arena had disappeared and Hawktor reappeared "If only you could speak Hawktor..." I sighed and was worried about Fabia and Neathia. Later that day, I was in my room in Marucho's house and started to sing 'Bring me To Life' by Evanescence.

I didn't know that Dan was at the door and had listened to me sing "Angel, is something wrong?" I sniffled "I'm fine... I just needed to sing that song. It's exactly how I feel right now. I just want someone to bring me back to life. I'm dying and I just want to be reborn...." Dan then came up to me and tried to comfort me "I'm here for you. You know that and I'll always do what I can for you. No matter what." I smiled "Thanks Dan. You always know how to cheer me up."
