Chapter 1 TWO YEARS AGO

(The sound of music fills my ears waking me from my beautiful dream) I toss my hand around trying to silence the beast that woke me up from bliss. I finally find my phone and shut off the alarm and fall back to sleep. Sadly my sleep is short lived as my brothers came in and started jumping on my bed yelling at me to get up. I groggily get up to shut them up.

"Hey! What is the deal waking me up at 6:30 in the freakin' morning!?" I ask quite annoyed by them.

They look at each other then at me with a questioning looks on their faces " Did you forget that today is the first day back at school?" my eyes widen as I realise they were right I jump out of bed and rush into the bathroom I quickly get dressed in a strapless cream dress with a rainbow of swirls on the bottom. Slipping on nude wedges. I let my hair down to fall into its natural curls. Saying a quick farewell to my cat Radja(who is lying on my bed.). I grab my bag and race downstairs and grab a protein bar before heading to my brother's car where they are waiting for me.

Hopping into my brother Nathan's car he drives off. On our way to school Lucas and Nathan are talking about some contests coming up for each of them. I'm looking out the window listening to my to music on my phone humming along. Before I know it we are at school. I hop out of the car and rush over to my friends Rosalin, Kara, and Xsavier. Giving all 3 a quick hug before I start talking to them.

"Hi, how was your summer?"

"Not bad I guess considering I had to spend summer with my awful cousins. Man, why do they have to be so annoying? They made it so I couldn't wait to come back to school." Kara complains.

"It was great I got to visit my gran in London and we spent the time catching up and going shopping." squeals Rosalin." I've got a whole new wardrobe."

"Non-eventful as usual."Xsavier shrugs "how about your's?"

"It involved a lot of traveling but I had a great time nonetheless. I did get some great shots while in Rome and Paris."

At that moment the bell rings and we separate to our prospective classes. When I get to class I sit in my usual seat by the window. All the kids are talking to their friends about their summer. I see my brothers come in talking to a guy I have never seen before. (You should probably know that I have all normal classes with my brothers in the morning.) Anyway, my brothers spot me and wave I smile and nod my head then turn it back to staring out the window. I don't turn my head back when the three seats in front, to the side, and behind me are taken knowing two of them are my brothers( they're a bit overprotective me being the youngest of us three). I don't care who took the last seat until I feel someone staring at me. I look over to see the new guy in front of me staring at me. I'm about to tell him to stop when the teacher walks in and he turns around. ' Weird. What a scary aura I get from him.' I thought to myself but shrugged it off for on.

Lunch time

"It's finally lunch thank all things holy!" I exclaim walking with my friends into the lunchroom. They laugh at my behaviour and get in line with me. We order lunch and go outside to eat. We head under the trees and eat while talking about random stuff. Somehow we got on to the topic of the new kid. They keep talking about how hot he is I just tune them out until.

" Hey, Aurora. What do you think of the new guy?" Kara questions

" Umm. Well, I guess he is okay but kind of creepy."

"How so?" Rosa asks

"Well, he walked in into my first class talking to my brothers a..."

"That's not really creepy." says Xsavier

"Well if you let me finish you may understand. Now are you going to let me finish?" They nod. "okay now where was I. oh yes. he and my brother sat in the three chairs around me. They continued to talk and I wasn't paying attention as usual till the teacher comes but I digress I felt eyes staring at me; I look in front of me and he is intensely staring at me like he's trying to read my mind."

"Okay, that is a little creepy. I wonder why he was staring at you like that?" Rosa admits I'm about to say something when the bell rings. We pack up our stuff and head back inside to our special classes. And the matter is dropped until the winter ball comes to pass.
