Chapter 19

*The night of Demi and Joe's date.

I have been talking to Joe and he told me to wear something casual. I get dressed in my skinny black jeans and a tight crop top showing a little bit of my toned body. I have talked to Josh about going on a stupid date with another boy but I will tell the boy I can't don't like him that way.

"Miss Demi someone is at the door for you" carilone says, she got back two days ago which is great. "coming" I yell. I quickly put extra things that I will need

in my side bag. I run down stairs and open the door. "wow you look beautiful Demi" I thank him and we walk out. Joe seriously looks hot he's wearing a plain black t-shirt with his black jacket and blue demiem jeans.

Joe puts a blind fold on me and puts me in the car. I wonder where we are going, if it wasn't Joe taking me on a date I would totally freak out and think I was going to be a victim of rape crime.

"Where are we going Joe?" I try to take my blind fold off but he tied it really tight.  "It's a secret" I can tell he is smirking.

"Are we there yet Joe?"

"Stop asking, I will tell you when we get there"

"F-I-N-E" I screech. "We're here." "Finally." I reach for the door to open it, but Joe beat me to it. "Here you go beautiful" he grabs my hand and lifts me out of the car.

"Can I please take the blind fold off?" I ask. "I'll take it off for you" "okay thanks." I open my eyes and scream, I hug Joe and whisper "Thanks." Joe grabs me by the hand and interlocks our fingers. We walk into the carnival and go get food. "What do you want to eat? Joe askes me; "Can I please have a hot dog?" he gives me a nod, he  pays for the food and gives it to me.

"Let's go on a ride" I yell in excitement. Joe grabs my hand gently and walks me to the giant jrop. "I will never go on that ride." I stomach feel like throwing up everything I ate today.  "we have to go on this ride, but if you are to much of a girl we can try the little race truck ride." I felt a little angry that Joe thought that I was being a girl just because

I didn't  want to die on the ride.  "fine let's go on the stupid ride,  but never ever call me a little girl!" I smile grab Joe's hand and walk to the ride.

The acne boy straps me, then presses a blue botton and we rise up. I dig my finger nails into the seat. I feel really sick at the moment. I can't believe I let Joe talk me into this. "It's going to be ok" Joe whispers in my ear. I grab his hand and hold it very tightly. The ride has raised as far is it's going to go. I count the seconds until it drops. one..two....three.

"uhhhhhhhhhhhhh." The ride drops. for some reason I feel like it's going in slow motion.  I can see Joe smile and wink at me. The other people look  like they want to throw up. I really like this ride. The ride stops and we get off. "Let's do that again" I jump around saying. "I feel sick, and it's almost time to leave so let's go on the ferris wheel" Joe says grabbing his stomach, I smile and nod.

Joe and I are officially at the top of the ferris wheel, and coincidently the ride stops so we're stuck up there. I can see the whole city, it looks so beautiful for such an ugly place. "It's beautiful" I smile at Joe. "I know you are," Joe takes my hand and leans in for a kiss.  I really want to kiss him but I know I will be unfaithful to Josh. I pull away and he looks at me with a confused face. "Sorry if I am moving to quickly" he tries to explain. "I don't mind but I'm kinda in a  relationship."

Joe looks really sad and moves back. "what's wrong Joe?"

"You should of told me, I wouldn't have been flirted or anything like that tonight if I knew that you had a boyfriend." I feel like crying, I can't believe I just hurt Joe. " I want to go home." I'm now staring at him. "whatever." The ride starts and we walk to the car.

"Josh I love you" I hear a girl say. I look around and I see Josh with another student.

"wow what a sick dick, he takes advantage of girls" Joe snarls.

At the moment I'm trying my hardest not burst out in tears.

Joe and I get into the car and drive away. "so... Who's the lucky guy that gets to be ur boyfriend? " he smirks. All I can do is burst into tears,  I'm so weak. Joe pulls to the side of the road and askes what's wrong. "I'm fine, just take me home. " Joe doesn't know how to respond to what I just did, but he does end up taking me home.

Joe walks me to my door, I can feel the awkwardness between us. Joe gives me a reassuring hug and whispers "I had fun tonight lovato and if you ever break up with ur boyfriend call me. " I couldn't help but smile. I kiss Joe on the cheek and walk inside. I run up to the bathroom, and yes I cut again.
