An unusual criminal

*** I saw a fair-skinned lady in a black dress at a corner of the street. It looked like mum, she had long curly dark brown hair, sky blue eyes and a perfectly curved body.
I recognised her as my mother and ran towards her with full speed. Immediately I touched her clothes, she disappeared . It felt like nothing then, I opened my eyes.***

Lucy's POV
I woke up with a jump. I found myself laying on the chairs off the pretty much empty surgery  room. It was past midnight. I stood up trying to regain my self, then I remembered.......DAD!
I barged into the waiting room. The surgeon had already finished the surgery and was cleaning away everything. I glanced at my bed and saw my dad laying down. I walked over to him ;
"Dad, are you okay?"
"Lucy"
"Dad your okay "I said hugging dad tightly
"Now be careful he is still recovering from the surgery, the bullet hit him deep"the surgeon advised me.
"Oh sorry"I say as I let him go "what exactly happened dad and who and why did that person try to shoot you?"I curiously asked.
Dad had an uncomfortable expressions on his face. " That doesn't matter now tomorrow is another day of school you better get going home if you get to school early tomorrow" he said totally changing the topic. Not the reaction I was looking for but I just nodded.
"Charlie"he called to one of his youngest officers who just happened to be passing by "escort my daughter home now"
Charlie led me out of the room and I a smiled at dad as I followed.
I wonder why he didn't want to tell me what happened

Dad's POV
I watched as Charlie led Lucy out of the room she flashed a smile at me and I smiled back. I can't believe she bought it so easily if it was me I wouldn't.
But I can't let her know what happened earlier

(Earlier that day) still dad's POV
I couldn't believe how fast work finished today , we've only had minor emergencies today like regular handbags thieves, cat stuck in a tree and donuts runs(yes, it's is technically an emergency)
"Well boys looks like we'll be closing early today" I said to the team.
"Thanks goodness course I have to go on my first date with my girlfriend" said Collins ,one of youth employees .
"Didn't you do that yesterday?" Charlie responded like as if he were the only person that cared in the room
"No that was day before yesterday and besides that was my OTHER girlfriend" Collins replied proudly. Kids of nowadays are just so messed up
"And some of us can have more time for their wives and kids"said Paul, a married black man with four kids.
"And some of our will have time for our only daughter"said Carly, our only female staff.
I looked at her and realised she was referring to me. She was right I had free time finally I should got speed it will Lucy. Maybe I'll wait for her to come to the station and then give her a helicopter ride around the city and then when we get back will go for some ice cream and chocolate chip cookies and then back home for a movie perhaps. My thoughts were interrupted with the sound of someone shouting EMERGENCY. I snapped back to reality.
"It's a big one sir" someone said and I sighed "there is a terroric attack at the new access bank down town. Half of the security has been knocked out second handedly by this single handed devil and he is gradually making his was towards the manager of the bank. I grinned my teeth. A single criminal is attacking one of the most highly secured banks in town and had wipped out nearly half of them. Everybody was starring at me for what to do even though it was quite obvious. "Well what are we waiting for lets get going"I finally announced to everyone.

On reaching we started to search the whole place.just then someone sent an alert that he had been found him on the roof. Everyone ran there . The BEASt was holding the manager buy the neck of the edge of the roof about to drop him.
"Hey this is the police and I order you to carefully drop Mr Roberts down and surrender"I commanded.
He actually dropped the manager down and gradually walked towards us. He was a young man like Collins and Charlie and was also around Lucy's age. He was leaf green in complexion and had dark green hair-abonormal. The young man was wearing torn clothes without any shoes and was breathing heavily.
I pointed my gun at him "stop don't move closer or I'll shot you I commanded again. But the lad simply didn't comply. I grinned my teeth as I pulled the trigger targeting his right leg.
All off a sudden he attacked my and before I knew what happened he rotated the gun towards my shoulder and I accidentally let the trigger go...........on my CHEST.
I feel to the floor and my sight became dim. The lad slowly backed away but someone knocked I'm out . I heard Carly telling someone to text my daughter ......then I passed out.
