Adventure Time with Fionna and Marshal Lee

Fire Kingdom

"Why do you hate him so much anyways?" I asked Marshal Lee as we crossed the forbidden bridge. He tightened his grip on my hand and looked down. "Look Fi, he just doesn't understand me. Can't take a joke. How do you hang with that gumwad anyways? Doesn't he get boring." He asked. I thought about it. I always liked hanging out with gumball. He was super cool friend and he was always so nice. Whenever he said weird things like talking about my hair I got nervous and I didn't know why. Did I ever find him boring? I mean he sometimes talked about science stuff that I didn't really understand and I kinda just smiled and nodded. That didn't make him boring though. He was just really really crazy smart.

"Hello?.." Marshal asked making me loose my train of thought. "What?" I asked looking up at him. He let go of my hand and crossed his arms. "I asked you if you thought Gumwad was boring," he reminded me. I crossed my arms too, "He's a radical dude who is crazy mad for science. He's not boring." I said. Marshal Lee looked around. "Hey Fi, you know where we are?" He asked. I looked around and saw black grass. There were buildings made of charcoal and people walking around. They seemed normal except that they all had glowing orange skin. The top of their hair semmed to flair up like...fire.

"The Fire Kingdom." I said in a low voice. Marshal Lee watched the people walk around and glance at us. Suddenly two walls rose in front of us blocking our entrance with two fire guards standing in front at either side. "Hault what is your buisness here at the Fire Kingdom?" They said in a low voice. Fire guards were never really serious. Anyone was pretty much allowed in the Fire Kingdom as long as you gave them a reason. It didn't even have to be a ligit reason. Anything would get you in."Sorry we were just walk-" Marshal was cut off by a loud voice from on top of the wall.

A firey figure came down like a cannon and reached the floor on two feet. He was looking at us with a serious face. He had a half head of hair that flaired to the side and he wore a royal garment made of coal and jewels. On top of his head was a black crown that spiked up at the top. "Well hello there. You don't look like people from MY kingdom." He said, his face still serious. The two guards dropped to their knees,"Your majesty." They said as they bowed their heads. "Majesty?" Marshal asked. He looked at the mysterious flame figure. I had never seen the flame prince up close before. "Your majesty," I repeated and kneeled.

Marshal Lee followed my lead and suddenly I felt a hot touch on my hand as Flame Prince lifted me up. "I've been expecting you." He said. His black eyes staring intensly at mine. "Your friend told me you would come save him." I suddenly thought about Gumball. "Gum-" I was cut short. "Yes the prince is here," he said. "He's been arrested for theft."
