Adventure Time with Fionna and Marshal Lee

Escape (marshal p.o.v)

"UGH I HATE FLAME KING." Fionna yelled and threw her hands up. We were imprisoned with Gumwad after Fionna punched the Flame King and nearly burned her whole hand. "Fionna please be still, I'm trying to help you." Gumball pleaded while he wrapped Fionna's injured hand. "Well she wouldn't HAVE to be still if you didn't get arrested princess,"I said through hissed teeth. He ignored me and concentrated on wrapping. "Fionna if you don't mind me asking, why did you attempt to hurt the Flame King?" Gumball asked. She looked down and blushed. I looked away no longer caring about the conversation. But I couldn't help but overhear Fionna say,"I DONT KNOW!!! I JUST GOT SO MAD WHEN HE SAID HE ARRESTED YOU!" Gumball stared wide eyed at Fionna and tucked one strip of the wrap between her thumb. He looked back down and sighed. "There. You probably shouldn't use that hand for a while. I couldn't believe it. That Fionna loving candy cane actually was IGNORING what she said! Was he embarrased? I don't know but suddenly I was interedted in the conversation again, even though I kept quiet about it.

"Hey Fi got any bright ideas of how we're getting out of here?" I asked casually. She thought about it. She looked so cute when she was concentrating. I loved when she finally had an idea and said-"I GOT IT!" Fionna said while she slammed her fist on her palm. "Gumball could you reach into my bag and get the retractable sword you got me on our date?" She asked blushing at the word DATE. Wait. Date? Those two actually had a date? I don't know why but this gave me a weird feeling like I wanted to punch gumwad in the face. "Here," he said giving her a small neon cube. "Um hate to rain on your parade but, that's a CUBE." I said sarcasticly. Gumwad rolled his eyes at me and said,"Its RETRACTABLE stupid vampire," and pressed a button on the cube. I shape shifted into a sharp three dimensional sword that glowed. I stared wide eyed at the sword. I have to admit, that was a pretty ligit sword, even if it was pink.

Fionna grabbed the sword,"Hey Cake what time is it?" She said reaching her hand up high in the air. Cake reached up her paw and they high fived saying,"ADVENTURE TIME!" And with that Fionna swung the metal bars with her sword. Cake fit through the bent bars and then Fionna,Gumball,Me. We ran down the halls and while Fionna beat up the guards, we looked for an exit. "I see a door up those stairs!" Cried Guball. He and cake ran up the stairs. I started running two until...FIONNA! I looked around for the adventurer. She was still fighting a couple if Fire Guards. "FIONNA!" I called out. She couldn't hear me. She was in her fighting state of mind. I flew over and between the guards until I got close enough to lift her up. She was heavier than I thought and that made me drop her a little at first, but she was still pretty light. I flew us up the stairs until suddenly a Guard attacked us, bocking our escape.

"I'm getting the feeling they don't want us to leave!" I said while kicking the guard in the face and flying through the exit. Fionna looked at me startled. I placed her gently on the ground and retracted her sword. I sat with her and she put her head on my lap. "Hey what are you-" I said before she reached her head up and gasped. "WHY DID YOU PULL ME AWAY? I WAS IN THE ZONE!" She yelled at me. I suddenly felt annoyed. "Hey I just SAVED your life!" I replied in an annoyed tone. She stopped yelling and looked down. Then she did something that surprised me. She reached her arms around me and buried her face in my chest. "Thanks Marshal," she said in a low voice. I never noticed how nice it was to be hugged. I hugged her back ,"Anytime Fi." I said and we sat there embraced and alone.

I finally pulled away and looked around. "Uh oh," I said looking up. There stood in the distance was Flame Prince. Then he got closer..closer..and then his face was an inch from mine. "Who let you two out?" He asked suspiciously. I grabbed Fionna's hand and lifted her up. "Oh I see you hurt your hand trying to BREAK my face," he said cold heartedly. "I get what she did was wrong but you don't look hurt so can we just let it go?" I asked forcing a smile and trying to look convincing. He glided over to Fionna. "Okay hero. Just this once I'll let it go since you're kind of cute." He said smirking. "And you've done so much for our village, or so I've heard." Fionna blushed,"I'm sorry for hitting you." She said. "Um hey Flame Prince, wjat did Gumwad steal anyway?" I asked breaking the love atmosphere. He continued to look at Fionna as he said,"He stole my father's Fire Stone of Akra for one of his science experiments. It was a gift from my mother so he got pretty mad."

Of course he did. "Fionna that's a serious offense. We should just turn him in and then go home and play A-MO." I said smiling. She ignored me and looked at Flame Prince. I wish he wasn't so close to her. "Please Flame prince you have understand he's mad crazy for science and he sometimes goes to far. You have to let him go!" She pleaded. "Wish I could cutie, but a crime is a crime. The best I could do at this rate is bring his imprisonment down to 2 months." He said shrugging. She sighed,"Thanks anyways." I suddenly realized,"Uh you guys do know he escaped like an hour ago right?" I asked narrowing my eyebrows. Fionna chuckled. "Man I've GOT to get better guards!" Flame Prince yelled slapping his palm on his forehead. "Well you guys are free to go...if you'd like, Fionna stay for dinner." He asked hopefully. She smiled,"Nah Marshal and I are gonna play A-MO. She winked at me and I laughed. "Later Hot Head!" I said picking Fionna up and flying back to her tree house.
