Biography: Glitter, glitz, sparkle, bliss. Alexa Bliss sparkled her way into professional wrestling in WWE's developmental territory, NXT. There, she would start out as a sweet adorable fairy-esque character that wore a tutu, and blew glitter into the air.
Bliss would soon learn that being nice gets you no where, and a little over a year later she would enter the dark side, teaming with Blake & Murphy to rule NXT. She ditched the blue highlights for red ones, and got rid of the tutu to make a statement that there was no more being nice.
Alexa was drafted to SmackDown Live on July 19, 2016 in the ninth round, leaving NXT behind.As soon as she debuted, she vowed to rule the division, and represented what the new era should look like.
Just five months after debuting, Bliss accomplished her first major milestone in her career, when she defeated Becky Lynch in a Tables Match to become the second-ever SmackDown Women's Champion. This officially marked the beginning of the Bliss era. She also became the first woman to win both the Raw & SmackDown Women's Championships. Alexa may be only five feet tall, but she is fierce. There is no stopping her now.
