2 Months Later..

JESSIE

I sit on the grass covered floor, my white dress is covered in dirt and mud from the many times of me falling. I don't usually use my feet so much in heaven.

Heaven

That place was always home to me, my safe haven, the one and only place I could feel safe. Now that's all gone, slipped out my hands like water.

It's been around 2 months since I fell onto earth and it's been absolute hell. I've almost gotten eaten numerous time but I always manage to run away. I was fortunate to stumble across a small town but I was too scared to even consider going in and asking for help.

They all seem so natural doing what they're doing, I didn't want to be a bother. So because of that I stayed in these woods, on the way here I saw a sign with big letters say,

WELCOME TO OREGON

What even is a Oregon?

I kept walking, going nowhere in particular. Once in a while I'll have to stop and take a rest, I haven't used my legs most of my life. There was no need to, I had my wings..

The thought of my wings brings tears to my eyes. I slowly peer over my back to see nothing, the tears come full blast and I collapse. I cry out in lost, anger, pain, rejection and most of all betrayal. The pain in my back is excruciating, the blood is dry but it still doesn't make it anymore less hurtful.

They just kicked me out like I didn't matter, I know they thought of me like a outcast but to just shove me away without any remorse. I know I was different from my behavior to the color of my hair, I was a reject.

After minutes of sobbing on the floor, my tears finally run dry and a dull feeling sets in my stomach. Even in this world I am different, I absolutely know nothing about there way of living or what's right or wrong.

I start to walk more but suddenly an uncomfortable feeling sets in my stomach like it's being turned upside down. I grab it but all of a sudden a small growl comes out, it nearly made me jump 2ft in the air.

Why is my stomach making these noises??!!

The noise dies down and I continue walking, my bare feet are getting punctured by little tiny sticks but I carry on.

I see the sky get dark and I sigh, time to find a place to sleep. I find a big tree and gruffly flop on top a bunch of leaves.

I lay down on my side as sleep takes over my body.

I think it's been an hour since I fell asleep but I suddenly wake up to a low growl. I shoot up from my place on the ground as I hear the noise. I Wimper quietly and I wrap my hands around my body.

The creature growls more loudly and tears spur from my eyes. Through my bleared vision I could see two yellow beading eyes staring at me from a bush only 5 yards away from me. I tremble and all of a sudden pain shoots up from my back.

I scream and collapse to the ground.

With the remaining strength I had I peer over my back to see the wounds start to bleed profoundly. I choke out a sob and I see the yellow eyes get closer, the creature bares it's teeth and I feel my legs go numb. It gets into a striking pose and was about a pounce when all of the sudden I see a flash of white fur.

The white creature strikes down the animal. My eyes clear up and I see that they're wolves.

Wolves...

Wait

WOLVES!!!

I whimper and try to stand but my legs give out. I look over the wolves to see the white one hunched over the one with yellow eyes. He's not dead, that I know for sure but when I look closer I see him bare his neck to the white wolf.

Is it submitting itself to it?

The pain in my back drains my remaining energy and I once again collapse. A loud powerful growl is heard and it shakes me to my core. All of a sudden I hear bones breaking and I internally cringe.

I feel a hand go under my legs and another under my back. The contact makes me hiss in agony, the person shushes me quietly and continues to carry me. The contact between our skin was electrifying, the feeling of him was addictive. I never wanted anything more than to be in this strangers arms.

My body falls limp from the lack of energy, and the stranger grips harder on my skin. I feel the air whip against my face and I can only guess that they started running.

"Don't go out on me now mate, stay awake please, I want to see those pretty eyes of yours" The stranger shouts, by the rich and deep voice, I could now say that it's a male.

That's the last thing I hear before I black out

Sorry for the long wait, I just had a blank idea for this story but now I'm back! I'm not going to give up on this story!
