Recap:
"Where do you think you're going Beasty? You're going to stay out here" I told him. It's one thing for him to stay by my side all the time but it's another when he wants to go to the bathroom with me!
I gently close the door in front of him and not a second later I hear him whimpering. I chuckle quietly to myself.
Silly Wolf
JESSIE
After I close the door to the bathroom I turn and face the mirror and I almost scream at my reflection. I haven't seen my reflection in a long time, In heaven we don't use mirrors as often as mortals since we simply don't care of our appearance.
I look closely at myself and see the damage. Instead of my usually soft dark caramel red hair it's replaced with a dull red, my eyes have no shine in them like before and my skin is a shade lighter than its usual sun kissed glow.
I was an angel after all.
I close my eyes and turn away from my appearance, I look around the bathroom and see a small shower in the corner and once I lay my eyes on it a sigh of relief exits out of me. I drag my body towards it and I slowly strip out of my white tattered dress. It pools at my feet and I step out of it, I pull down my matching underwear and gingerly step in the baby blue colored tiled shower. I turn the nob and water instantly comes in contact with my skin.
I take a minute and let the water run freely down my body. I look down and see the dirty water wash off of me in a sift movement. I sigh and think about all the things that happened to me since I fell.
Me almost being eaten from a wild bear
Endlessly walking around the forest
Sleeping on the forest floors
Witnessing a wolf fight
Being saved by a mysterious stranger
Waking up in a strange roo-
I widen my eyes a fraction at the realization, I was saved by a stranger. I rack my brain for any other memories of the him but I ended up blank.
Who was he
I turn the water off after rinsing off the remaining dirt and washing my hair. I open the shower curtain and search around the bathroom for a towel, my eyes scan around and they locked on a box that was placed on the bathroom toilet. I scrunch up my eyebrows and hesitantly walk over to it. Water trails behind me as I make my way the mysterious box. As I come closer to it I notice a small towel placed under it.
