The words hit me hard. Join the Creed? I am just a normal woman!
"Why, Ezio?" I chocked out. He had a pleading look on his handsome face.
"There has been some... Troubles. You don't have to join.. But if you do, you can stay in Florence. You can help out the assassins who come by here," he explained, his eyes full of worry.
The words filled with concern brought me back to real life.
"Join? I have to think about it, Ezio. I can't just answer here and now, right after you told me," I answered shakily.
Ezio shook his head. "There is no time. Either you join, or you don't," he said quickly. My eyelids fluttered close as Is ighed.
"At least give me some time," I pleaded.
"I can't my love," he replied, stepping forward to hold my hands. I pushed them away.
"Give. Me. Time," I said through gritted teeth. I was standing up, eyes flashing wildly.
Ezio looked into my eyes and we locked gazes. "Fine. But I hate to tell you this, but I will be back when at sunset," he murmured gently.
He planted the softest of all kisses onto my hand before swinging out of the window and onto the roofs.
Typical Ezio.

Sorry about the shortnessness of this chapter.. again. I have an idea working for AC IV, although I don't even have an AC III up yet. I shall do that! *exits swiftly*.
