Luna Star's parents have always neglected her since she was 7. Trying to forget her very existence. Abusing her for no reason. One day, when they were on a business trip in Japan, she was fed up, thinking of Suicide but instead ran away.

She is living on her own in Japan and has a little paying job at a maid café as a cook.
Thanks to Luna's wonderful grades, Luna has earned a scholarship and will be starting her first year of high school at Ouran Academy where the rich and beautiful attend. One day Luna starts thinking of suicide again.
