Here you go!  I'm sorry it's taken so long.  And I know it's a little stupid.  Anyway, hope you like it!

When Tarja woke up the next morning, Floor's bed across the room was empty. Tarja got up and went into the kitchen. No Floor there. She looked in the bathroom and in the living room. No sign of Floor there, either.

Where can she be? Tarja wondered. She went back into the kitchen and started making breakfast. As she was pouring herself a cup of coffee, the door opened, and Floor walked in. Tarja set her cup down and threw her arms around her friend.

"Floor, you had me worried! Where have you been?" Floor hugged her back.

"Hey, Tari," she mumbled. She sounded like she was extremely tired, or hungover, or both. "I'm sorry, I had too much to drink last night."

"Is that why you didn't come home?" Tarja asked, handing her a mug of coffee. Floor sipped the hot drink and nodded. "Where were you?"

"If you must know, I spent the night with Sharon."

"Did you actually...sleep with her?" Tarja asked. Floor smiled sheepishly.

"Yes, I did." Tarja smirked.

"I share two dances with Alissa, and you get yourself a girlfriend! What is with us?" Floor laughed tiredly.

"Hey, what's wrong with that? Before you know it, you'll be going out with her frequently, and then kissing, and eventually sleeping together-"
"Okay, okay, that's enough, Floor!" Tarja cried, waving her hands at her friend in an attempt to shut her up. Floor laughed.

"What, you know you like her."

"Shut up!" Tarja said, swatting her. But she was laughing.

"I'll bet you wanted to kiss her goodbye last night," Floor said, sitting down at the table. The coffee seemed to have helped, and she was now more alert. Tarja blushed.

"I did, and I did," she answered, sipping from her own cup. Floor choked on her coffee.

"You...kissed Alissa?" Tarja nodded.

"But now I'm wondering if that was a really bad idea. Before that, she asked me to go out with her on Saturday, to dinner and a movie, and I said yes, but now...I'm not sure I want to. What if things are all awkward between us? Do I really love her? Does she love me? Ack! I'm about tearing my hair out over this!" Floor touched Tarja's hand reassuringly.

"Stop worrying. It'll be fine. If there's a problem, Alissa will let you know. She doesn't hide that sort of stuff." She yawned. "I would stay and try to calm you down, but I've got to shower and then get some sleep. I've got a date tomorrow, too."

"With Sharon?" Tarja asked.

"Yes, with Sharon," Floor said. "What is with you?"

"Nothing, it's just...I never thought you would hook up with her," Tarja laughed. "Even though I kind of wanted you to. I always thought you two would be good for each other." Floor rolled her eyes.

"Shipper," she muttered.

"Yep, that's me," Tarja said. "But it's not like you aren't."

"Whatever. You just wait. You and Liss will make a great couple." Floor disappeared into the bathroom.

"I'll bet you and Sharon got out on a date before we do!" Tarja yelled.

"We're going out on the same day," Floor answered.

"Ours isn't a romantic date!" Tarja shot back.

"If you say so," was Floor's answer, and then she turned on the water in the shower, making conversation impossible.

A little while later, Tarja was doing dishes, when her phone chirped, letting her know she had a text message. She wiped her hands and grabbed it. The message was from Alissa: Hey, what's up? Tarja texted back: Nothing much, you?

Alissa: Same. Working out and watching tv.

Tarja: Good for you. :)

Alissa: Thanks. so, tomorrow? what time should I pick you up?

Tarja: what time does the movie start?

Alissa: dunno, I haven't picked one. Anything you want to see?

Tarja: maybe that sci-fi thing, I can't remember what it's called.

Alissa: that's helpful. There's lots of sci-fi movies playing right now.

Tarja: Sorry, I can't remember what it's called. give me a sec.

She typed the details she could remember about the movie's plot into Google and hit the search button. A few minutes later, she texted Alissa: Oh, yeah, Interstellar. I've been wanting to go see it for a while. is that good with you?

Alissa: sure. How about the 21:00 showing? I can pick you up around 19:00, and we can get some dinner.

Tarja: okay, sure! :) sounds great. See you then.

Alissa: bye.

Tarja put her phone in her pocket, and was about to go back to her dish washing, when her phone chirped again.

Alissa: Oh, hey, Tarja?

Tarja: yeah?

Alissa: nice and fancy, but wild, or slow and comfortable, but old and a little shabby?

Tarja: what kind of a question is that? What are you talking about?

Alissa: Just answer the question, ok?

Tarja: um.......

Tarja: you pick.

Alissa: you sure?

Tarja: yes. I trust you.

Alissa: You're brave, I like that. Well, okay, I'll pick. See ya.

Tarja: bye!

After she put her phone away, Tarja kept thinking about Alissa's question.

What have I gotten myself into? she wondered. Oh, I hope this wasn't a bad idea after all.
