A/N

YO YO guys. Ive finally perfected chapter three as best I can. I thought I left the last chapter on a rather exciting cliffhanger and then added to it in this chapter. I'm excited to read what you guys think.

And so, for tonight/today's entertainment, I give you chapter three!!!! Eek! Enjoyb ;).

My heart stopped. For a second there, I think it literally did stop.

He leaped off the side of my two story house, with me wrapped tightly in his strong arms. My mind kept playing those few crazy seconds over and over and iver again, trying to grasp it. That feeling, being grabbed, wrapped into his arms, and then falling with nothing but air beneath me. It was amazing.

I looked over to him, amazement swimming in my extremely light green eyes. Was it really a clever idea to let the new kid jump off the side of a house with me in his arms? Of course not. But he landed like a panther, pouncing off a moldy tree trunk, without so much as bumping my frozen body in any way.

"Come on." He said, slightly puffed. I just looked at him, trying to take in as much as i could. The way his beautiful light brown eyes, straight nose, full lips and thin eyebrows all sat on his pale face, made him look like royalty. The way he held himself made him look like a knight from Narnia - the only movie I watched and fully enjoyed out of all the little kids movies. His dark brown hair was perfectly messy on top of his head. The way his black t-shirt and jeans clung to his muscular body. The way he chose not to wear any shoes even though it was freezing tonight. He really is a different kind of beautiful. My kind of beautiful.

He looked towards the trees of the forest that loomed up behind my house with a look like he was eager to get somewhere. The familiar feeling of discomfort bubbled up in my stomach even though I knew that there was something so safe and familiar about this boy.

'You know, I dont even know you. Why the hell would I follow you into the forest?" I asked. I knew there was an icy side to my voice but thats just me. Icy, inside and out.

He smiled at me, like he expected this. "No, you don't. But I know you." He said, that smile still perfectly on his lips. Ugh, why am I saying perfect? I don't know this boy. I don't know people. Its a habbit.

"What on earth do you meen?" That same hint of iciness puncturing its way onto my voice.

"I mean," He said, his eyes sparkling brightly in the moonlight. I wonder if mine do that. "I know how you like the cold and hate the heat almost like you can't bear it. I know how you feel uncomfortable around people and choose to exclude yourself from them. But most of all, I know how you hunger to walk through a forest with your wolf by your side." My breath caught in my throat and my heart stopped beating. How the hell does he know any of that?

"Wait. My wolf? I don't have a wolf." I told him, catching the gaping hole in his front.

"Yes, you do. She's been waiting for you for 3 years. Happy Birthday, Ashana Nashure." How does he know its my birthday? This is why I decided to 'exclude' myself from everyone. Because they get too close and they know my secrets. I hate that.

But then a beautiful, snow white wolf sauntered out of the trees. Her ears sticking up perfectly as her body moved gracefully towards me. What took my breath away was the fact this was the exact wolf I always pictured with myself in the cold forest, snow white fur and everything. The wolf stopped a few metres in front of my amazed form and bowed. I know right. A wolf bowed to me. She leant back like a cat would when stretching and leant her snout on her large front paws. When she straightened up, I carefully walked over to her like something was pulling me with a string. I stretched out my hand, standing right in front of the Wolf. She leaned into it, her snout nuzzling into my cold, pale hand.

"Wow." I whispered. My heart flurrying in amazement. I felt a connection to the wolf like nothing I had ever felt before, and I knew. This is my wolf. To love and protect.

"She's been waiting her whole life for you to become 17. She has no name. Name her." A slight accent that I couldn't put my finger on, bubbled onto his voiced.

It was a no brainer. I felt like I knew her name the minute she sauntered out of that forest. "Keira." I said, happily. "My wolf." I leant down and looked into the wolves eyes. "Keira." I told her. She yelped, happily. Almost like she could understand me. "Alright. Where are we going?" I asked as I faced Tarn. He looked at me with a proud smile on his lips.

"Home." He said simply, and started walking.
