Ok, so this whole being grabbed and then flying up or down through the air thing, is not agreeing with me. I mean, my visions gone all blury and there's a pounding headache radiating through my forehead.
Forehead headaches are the worst ever.
And to top it all off, my back colided with something hard and flat and very bloody painful. Oh look, it's just cement.
Wait, what!? Cement? I could have sworn we'd flown like a gazillion feet up into the sky, not to a road or something.
Holy crap. Tarn can friggin fly. No. Effing. Way. This day just keeps getting better and better. Or crazier. Which ever fits better.
Is it even the same day? I mean the moon looks the same and so does the sun, but everything; the trees, the grass, the animals, are just all different. Like that rabbit over there, I swear it just said hello to me.
"Oi, love!" I screamed. The bloody rabbit can talk! And it's frickin British.
It hopped towards me, it's little paws held out, making a shushing motion. "Shhhhh. Are you trying to get us killed?" Oh my god, it's got a sword. A sword. Holy crap.
"Whaa... You can talk? Are you real?" I asked, poking it in the face.
"Oi!" It slunk back away from my finger, obviously not liking being poked. Who would? Apologies little rabbit. "Yes I'm bloody real! Who're you anyway?" The little fella asked. Oh my god. He's so cute. Hehe.
Get a grip, woman.
"Oh. I'm Ashana Nashure." I said holding out my hand. The little rabbit's eyes went as wide as saucers. Oh god. Is there a big ass tiger or something behind me? I turned around to check. Nothing. Must be me then.
"No. You can't be." He whispered. I'm pretty sure I can be. I did say it was my name right?
"I very well can be. My mother gave me the name herself thank you very much." I retorted. The rabbit looked at me, shocked. "Seriously, little fella. If you don't close your mouth you're gonna become a fly trap." I told him. He snapped his mouth shut.
"Your mother? What's her n-name?" He stuttered. Oh gosh, now there's a little rabbit asking about my mother. I must be hallucinating.
"Halina." I blurted. Gosh I must have hit my head or something I'm acting weird. Thinking weird. It must be because of all the flying and smacking and all. I don't like this.
The little rabbit looked like he was gonna die on his feet. He looked a little pale. That's a bit difficult seeing as his fur is brown. He started swaying on his little rabbit feet. Instinctively I flung my arms out and caught him just as he was about to fall. Poor little fella was out cold.
Geez. He has the softest fur. Naaw look at his little rabbit face.
Get. A. Grip. Woman.
Just then Tarn came striding out of the trees. Trees? Yes there are trees right beside this random blot of cement. I turned to look at him, the little rabbit cradled gently in my arms. His hair was disheveled and his eyes seemed more focused and intent on something.
My heart started fluttering. Ugh! I hate this. What is going on? Don't think about it. Think about the little rabbit your holding. Oh yeah the rabbit.
"Hey Tarn." I said, looking at him confused.
"Yeah, babe?" Um... did he just call me babe? And what's up with that accent? It's like every time he talks it gets thicker.
"You didn't tell me animals could talk." I said carefully. He looked at me, then down at the rabbit, then back up to me.
"Oh. Shit." He said, looking like he was in deep doo doo. I looked at him, expectant. "What did you do to Malvin?" He asked me, becoming concerned for the rabbit.
"Nothing. He asked me what my name was and who my mother was and then he basically just fainted." Tarn looked shocked. He mumbled something that sounded like 'ducking bell' under his breath before he strode over to the rabbit and tickled him behind the ear. The rabbit, Malvin, immediately started to stir and then it wasn't long before he woke up.
"Oh, Tarn. You've returned. At last." I looked up at Tarn.
What?
