**Five Years Later**
"Welcome to the 2018 CMT Music Awards! To kick off the night, we have Hunter Hayes with his hot new single, "I Want Crazy!" My face shot up. Did she just say "Hunter Hayes?" Where have I heard that name?! Oh. My. Gosh. That's the guy from the Country Music Fest five years ago!! He actually made it big?! Oh my! Ooh, and he's hot. As soon as I saw this, I immediately called him. Since I recorded the show, so it wasn't live. "Hello? Who is this?" He asked with confusion. "VICTORIA HILTON!! OH MY GOSH!! Do you remember me?!! From the Country Music Fest five years ago?!!" I screamed. "Oh my! I do remember you! This is so cool! Why don't you fly out to see me?! We could sing together on Ellen in two days!" He exclaimed. "Oh. Uhm. I don't sing in public. I'm scared." I confessed. "Don't be. Here, I'll buy the tickets." He suggested. "Oh my gosh! Thank you so much pal!" I giggled and hung up.
HUNTERS POV
You can't be serious. That was HER? She remembers ME? Holy crap. This might just be the best day of my life. As soon as I got off the phone with her, I called the studio for Ellen. "Hey, it's Hunter Hayes. You're having me in two days." I said. "Why, yes. What is it you needed?" The receptionist asked. "May I speak to Ellen?" I asked hoping for a yes. "Sure. You're lucky she's here right now. It's the middle of the day. Here she is." "Hello?" Ellen asked. "Hi. It's Hunter Hayes. I have a slight change of how the show is going to go. You know how I was going to sing my new song? Well, not anymore. I have an old friend flying out from five years ago. We sang together at the 2013 Country Music Fest. She has a wonderful voice. We'll be singing "Cruise" by Florida Georgia Line." I told her. "Alrighty, Hunter. I'll tell the crew. I'm excited to meet her." She said. "Thank you." I said hanging up. This is going to be great.
