It was only my backpack. So I chucked it over to my tormentors who were threatening that if I didn't give it to them, I was in for a world of pain. I didn't see why they wanted it so badly, it was an old beat up black JanSport bag, nothing fancy. It did have my books in it though, which I was partially worried about. I was mainly concerned with the four tyrants in front of me, getting ready to torture me.
"Hah, weakling." He spat. "Now let's see what's in here," He began to open the bag and dump out everything inside it. I bit my lip at the scene, everything important to me was inside the back pack, including my notes for classes, homework, books, pencil case, binders, and more.
"P-please," I stammered, "I already told you I don't have it today. I was busy," I knew my persuasion wasn't good enough, but I guess it was worth a shot. Instead he just looked up at me and smirked.
"I told you I needed it today! That piece of paper cost me my whole grade you moron!"
"W-well then you should've done it yourself!" I said. Immediately I regretted saying this, because he walked over to me and pulled my hair, causing me to wince in pain.
"What did you just say!? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY!?" He gritted his teeth and pulled my hair even tighter. Then he pulled me up, so my toes were barely touching the ground, stretched his arm back, clenched his fist, and punched me in the face. I grimaced at the impact, let out a groan, and collapsed to the floor and nursed under
my right eye which I could feel forming a bruise. I clenched my other fist and closed my eyes hard."I-I'm sorry!" I chocked. "I-I'll do your homework tonight, I promise! In fact, I'll do your homework for the whole month, the whole year! Just please, leave me alone!" Tears strolled down my face. I didn't want to cry, to give them the satisfaction, but I couldn't help it. I curled into a ball and looked up at Jacob and his minions.
"Aww, is little-wittle Madison crying!? Waa waa waa!" He started to intimidate a baby, holding up his hands to his face and pouting his lip. His friends cackled. "I told you I wanted it today. " He continued. "Not tomorrow, not Wednesday, today. Doing my homework for a month won't do anything. That homework was worth 50% of my grade." He grumbled and murmured something under his breath that I couldn't catch. "C'mon guys. Moron Madison is a to much of a piece of trash and can't get anything done."
Him and his goons walked away, and I was left there, sitting on the cold concrete ground in front of my school, Northwood High. More tears welled up in my face and I quivered my lip. It was after school and everybody had left except maybe the janitors. I always walk home from school at the end of the day. Well... I usually run from school because the bullies always chase me. But this time I was to slow. Who knew I would be the target of every bully in the school? Who knew that high school would have so much bullying?
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to my daily life here at Northwood High school.
Tears rolled down my face and I cupped my hand under my right eyelid, which throbbed and ached. I blinked and looked up at the sky, and witnessed a flock of hawks appear. I watched as they soared above me.
I wish I was a bird. Then I could fly away from all my problems.

"How can I? You've got a huge bruise under your eye and your nose is bleeding! And on top of that, you're 3 hours late! And you're telling me to 'stop pacing' Ha! Are you kidding me!?"
