Enemy and Friend

Lizz's POV

As we laughed i felt someone watching us, giving me an uneasy feeling. I looked around the room, no one else was there with us, which wasn't a surprise really. We were always the first ones to class. Shrugging off the feeling i went back to talking to Sheby and Jonah. "So what do you guys want to do went we get home?" Sheby shrugged at Jonah's question. "We can ask mom or dad if they can take us to a roller-rink. We haven't been skating in a while." I suggested. The last time we went roller-skating was on Jack's birthday, we weren't very good at it but it was still fun! Sheby frowned at the idea. "I don't think that's a good idea. I still have bruises on my butt from all the times i fell!" We all laughed at that.

Mark and Jack were holding hands as they skated around the rink with ease as if they've done this for years. Meanwhile Sheby, Jonah, and I were struggling to keep balance. "Why is this so hard to do!? I thought it'd be easy to skate!" Shelby fell for what was the fifth time that night. "Are you ok?" Jonah asked helping her up while laughing. "DO I LOOK OK?! I'VE LANDED ON MY ASS MORE THAN I'VE SKATED TONIGHT!" Jonah and I laughed as Sheby's face grew red. "Sheby-Senpai you look like a tomato!" I said through laughs. She pushed me making me slide back, i lost balance and fell on my back. They laughed as Mark and Jack skated up to us. "You girls having fun over here?" Mark asked while helping me up. "NO! My but hurts from falling so much!" Jack laughed placing a hand on her shoulder. "It's alright Shelby. I've fallen so much my first time skating that i could barely sit down after." "I'm sure you can't sit down for other reasons also mom!" Jonah said laughing as Jack's face grew a dark red. Mark skated over and kissed his cheek. "Well let's go home, y'all have school tomorrow."

I was pulled out of my thoughts when i heard a loud slam against our desks. "Well if it isn't the little orphan Annie's!" I looked up and saw thw one person i really didn't want to see. Sarah. She's the girl who never stopped bullying us, and i don't think she ever will. "What do you want Sarah?" Jonah said through gritted teeth. "Can i not talk to my favorite freak shows? I mean just look at you guys! Where were you born, a dumpster?!" I just laughed at her little comment. If she was gunna bully us she can come up with better insults than that! "What are you laughing at Fishback?" I instantly stopped laughing. It was one thing to poke fun, but you NEVER insult our lastname. Shelby stood up ans shoved Sarah into the desk behind her. "SAY THAT AGAIN!! I DARE YOU!!" Sarah smirked. "Awwww! Is the little kitty getting mad?" It was Jonah's turn to get mad. He stood up and slapped her. "Only I  can call her that!" Sarah laughed and grabbed the front of his shirt, drawing her fist back she threw a hard punch to Jonah's cheek. I stood and grabbed Jonah before she could do anything else. She took a step closer and threw another punch but hitting me instead since i moved Jonah before he could get hurt again. "Is that it? I know a two-year-old who hits harder than you!" Her eyes shown rage like burning flames. She drew back for another punch but before it could hit me something, or someone, stopped her. They twisted her arm back making a cracking sound signalling it was broken. Sarah screamed in pain, but the person behind her pushed her away. "Heya guys!" It was our friend Evie, but we call her Marshal. Sarah had already left the room to go to the nurses office. "Hey Marshal!" Sheby said while helping Jonah off the ground. "I love how we just have a normal conversation like we didn't just get into a fight." We all laughed at Marshal's comment. "Anyway we should get you guys to the nurse's office." Shelby just laughed like she hadn't heard a joke in years. "Are you serious right now? The nurse hasn't helped us before! Why would she now?" She just continued laughing. The bell rang and people began filing into the room. We sat at our desks and TRIED to pay attention to what the teacher was saying.
