It took me forever but I did find Mark Tarlov. I have contacted him, yet I doubt he will talk about this film. The opening paragraph of this book is how I imagined him then that night. I now imagine him sitting back in a chair, holding his wife's hand, while tasting wine. From what I hear, he's absolutely fantastic at wine testing. He seems to be living a very peaceful life. I would hate to interrupt it.
So that left one man... the producer: Kerry Barden. Understand Kerry Barden is the bomb .com This man is the reason casting has been considered for an academy award category for "best casting" because he's great at it. He was the one who casted "Good Will Hunting", "se7en", "prisoners", and "the help". He casted "temptation" and was the producer on this film. It now makes sense why the cast sounds incredible!!!! I tried to get ahold of him but it was relatively impossible. What can I expect from the top casting director alive? So I sent him an email asking about the film. At 11:30 pm on March 30th 2017 he sent me back"we decided not to release the film because we felt it was unfinished. We have sent another producer back into the editing room, to fix the CGI animation and release the film soon. I'll keep you updated."
So after all that, I did it... the film wasn't released because it wasn't finished in post-production. Now it will be done soon... either this year or next year. I did it! And I can honestly say this; it was an amazing ride.
So why did I decide to put my research skills into a potentially terrible musical film? Well I wanted this film to see the light in the public, because it seems unfair that a passion project never got fully recognized. And yes, it may not be "Back to the future", but still this film is deserving of some praise for trying to shoot an entire film with digital animation, and fully sung through live singing before les miz ever did. And now I've done what I can. Now it's up to you; will you let the film see the light of day?
