It had only been a week since you seen the strange skeleton. for some reason I can't get him out of my mind. The image of his face was a bit blurry in my memory but then again I could barely see it from your window. I savored the idea of meeting him. Strange aura about him he looks tough he gave a nervous vibe. How I thought of myself as being creepy considering the idea about someone I didn't even know. Is it not nice to fantasize he'd probably be an extraordinary friend. He looks like the strong and protective type or the bad boy want to be either one.

Lingering on thoughts of the past week for many hours made me hungry. I had forgotten to go shopping yesterday so I decided to go out to eat with my extra money. What would be the harm in it?

There was a small cafe near the apartment I called home. After the short walk I entered the building with its pristine windows and leather furniture. As soon as I entered the lingering smell of coffee and cakes pinch my nose it made me smile. Then I gotten in line for some food. For some reason you felt uneasy like someone was watching me. looking around quickly it seemed that no one was looking at me. They were either too busy looking at their phones or computers or talking to each other to even notice you.

I waited for it seemed like for forever until I finally made it to the barista at the register. She was extremely tall with blonde curls and all black clothing signaling that she was in fact the Barista for it was the uniform of all the the men monsters and women working behind the counter.

"May I help you?" She said smiling. I quickly looked at the menu for a minute and then speaking as kindly as possible " I'll have (food) and (drink)". She noded and began preparing my order with gosto. However something felt off. I felt eyes boring into the back of my head. Quickly I shook off the feeling chalking it up to be hunger. grabbing my food once it was prepared. Then you found a good seat near two Cat creatures talking about trash.

BBBBZZZZZZTTT!!
My pesky phone hummed to life causing me to jump and scramble to answer it.

I sighed putting my phone down thinking. All the parties that Jenny got me into usually ended up terribly with either horrible guys trying to pick me up or having to save Jenny from something terrible happening. What would make this time any different? It was true I truly cared about Jenny and making sure she was safe but man was she a handful she was a teenager stuck in an adult's body. I felt myself cringe at the thought what happened at the last party me and her went to let's just say the house caught on fire but everyone came out okay.

Trying to forget that I had only somewhere around 2 hours to get ready for the party I tried to eat your food and peace ignoring all the noise around you. little do I know that a man sitting in front of you heard my entire conversation. He couldn't help but laugh at the stupidity of him going to the same party that day.

Of course of all things that happened Jenny was late. I shouldn't have been surprised how many years have I known her and her being on time for anything was a miracle in itself. In fact it was a miracle she could hold a job.
I puff your cheeks out staring at my phone seeing the onslaught of messages saying sorry from Jenny and she's on her way. In the time that she took for her finally pick me up. I had gotten my hair done with my makeup put on a lovely knee-high dress and shoes to compliment with a small spray of perfume.

Knock knock!!
" open up it's me!" Open the door up for her and in all her sweaty Glory she was there with her hair frizzed her mascara running and she smelled like death. " you can't go to the party looking like that come inside and I'll fix you up" then I quickly pulled my childlike friend into the house taking a matter of 5 minutes to fix her and make her look as presentable as possible as both of us quickly walked downstairs an into Jenny's car.

" so what's the excuse this time" I yawned gently looking at her with a raised eyebrow. " I took a nap and woke up late" she spoke as earnestly as she could. " figures ,you make me question of how you can even hold a job let alone keep yourself afloat" I looked at her but she smirked at me. " the world may never know".

Her reply made me sigh as I looked at the window seeing flashing lights as we finally made it to the party the place is a lot bigger than our last and a lot more people were there making it seem like this was a lot more than it was cracked up to be. Once me and Jenny got out of the car I looked up in awe as the building nearly touch the sky itself with Fades of purple and magenta flaring out of the windows and the walls being a pristine White.

It made me frown to see the front of the building do faced with toilet paper and littered cups all around the ground with several teenagers and drunk monsters littering the ground as well. Well this was going to be a very peculiar night.
