Different Gender POV's

So if/ when you write in someone else's POV (Point Of View) it can be hard, and non-convincing very easily.

How to write in a girl's POV:

- Be detailed! If they're walking through a town after a tornado, take the time to describe what the houses look like. What the road or highway looks like. Maybe they find a ruined child's toy. Get detailed! Whether it's a house, clothes, facial features, whatever! DETAILS!!!

- Have them struggle with things (ex. They struggle to have their voice heard.)

- Have them be emotional at least once or twice somewhere in your story. (Depending on your character.)

- Maybe give them a bad ass moment where everyone is like "Mother of God that bitch is batshit crazy!"

- Make them have more thoughts in the story/ chapter. (You know cause girls think.)

- Girls usually put other in front of themselves. (Again depending on your character.)

How to write in a boy's POV:

- Don't be detailed. Be blunt, and straight forward. Depending on your character, only have a little bit of detail every now and then.

- Have them be "desperate" or "wanting" to impress a lady. (You don't have to, to me this is more for like fantasy stories than any other book. You know like "I'm going to slay that Dragon for you my lady!" kind of shit.)

- Have them closed up when something tragic happens.

- If/ when they break down, make it surprising to others. (Maybe even the readers.)

- Less thoughts in the story/ chapter. (You know cause guys don't think, they just do.) (Which isn't always a bad thing.)

Setting things straight for both:

- Guys aren't always buff and tough and shit.

- Girls aren't always prissy little bitches.

- Guys can be emotionally, and girls can be hardcore.

- Yes girls can be weak a lot, but so can boys.

- If you have a LGBTP etc. (Sorry I don't know all of them for me to list) kind of person do the opposite or both. (Also do some research to make sure that you don't accidently offend somebody.) (Cause that would suck!)
