He remembered the day clearly. The day he met Linda Hanning. The blonde haired, brown eyed woman he fell for. Before fame got ahead of him and promises he made could keep.
Richard Wright was the pianist and sometimes the singer of Pink Floyd. It was still quite a little band when he met her. Syd Barrett had just left the band and Rick was confused. He lived with Syd and had to come up with many excuses to get around going to gigs. He remembered after one of those gigs, going to have a drink and seeing her there, on her own and from her looks knew she was shy. He wasn't confident with talking either, mainly to someone who took his breath away so quickly.
He didn't remember approaching her or talking to her, but he did. He got her to laugh a laugh he already loved and her voice made him feel as if he could melt. He was surprised when she agreed to a date which made him feel on cloud nine.
Now had been a year later they were living together and Rick had just began to make his biggest mistake.
