He wants me to go outside? Why? It's like almost 11. I pull across the blinds on my window and scan outside into the darkness.
Outside my window there our front yard with a trampoline and a small garden of flowers. Then my drive way leads all the way up to the main road and it has chalk drawings all over it from my nephew.
I see a dark figure sitting on the edge of the sidewalk right in between mine and Noah's house. The street lights shine on the road and flies surround it.
I grab my flannel and as quiet as a mouse I slowly tip toe down the stars. I sneak past the kitchen and run to the front door, slowly opening the door I walk outside and walk towards the figure.
I walk closer and it's Noah. Im at least a centimetre next to him.
"Hey?" I softly say sitting down next to him.
He just looks at me and says nothing then finally says
"You ditched me Amber."
"I ditched you?" I say
"Yes. You ditched me"
I laugh
"I did not ditch you. I think you've got your facts a bit mistaken Miles, you were the one who ditched me.
"But you did."
"Pfft yeah when? Because I remember you the one who-" I try to say getting very defensive
"I was trying to find you after school and you weren't there."
"Yes I left because you were with Bonnie and me and her don't really have good terms. So you basically ditched me for Bonnie so I went home my myself! And you left me for the whole day for her! Sat next to her instead of me! Chose her as a partner instead of me! I'm surprised your not with her right now!"
He just laughs.
"Oh what! Is this funny to you Noah! Well you know what-!"
"Shhhh" he says putting his pointer finger near my mouth. He smiles and has dimples.
"I don't get why you care so much Amber. I can have other friends. What it seems like here.. do you have a little crush Amber Kelly?!" He smirks.
OH MY GOD WHAT A JERK
"You know what? I'm leaving. Have fun alone in the streets" I say getting up
"Amber.." he says grabbing onto my hand.
"Get off me!" I yell flicking my hand away.
He stands up and looks me straight in the face.
"Calm down Amber."
I don't say anything.
He moves closer and i take a step back.
"If you think that I'm replacing you with Bonnie then you are seriously wrong."
I keep silent.
He looks down and then looks back up at me.
"To be completely honest. Bonnie is very stupid and I don't even really like her but she clings onto me and follows me around like a lost puppy"
