Friday afternoon Noah walks home with me and drops me home to get ready for the party tonight.
I call Laura.
"Hello??"
"LAURA!" I scream
"WHAT WHAT WHAT!" she screams back.
"I've got nothing to wear!!!" I cry
"AWH poor bubba!" She laughs
"Well lucky for you Amber, I've got a spare short black dress you could wear."
"YES! Yes! Yes!" I scream jumping and clapping my hands at every yes.
We both die of laughter.
"I'm coming over." I say grabbing my stuff and stuffing it into a nude coloured bag.
I run down the stairs and walk out the door and begin my walk to Laura's in sweatpants a long t shirt and a messy bun.
No shame.
She lives in the rich part of town where all the houses are two to three stories high, her house has a garden of roses at the front and a small water fountain. It has a huge trampoline and a dog pen. In her backyard there's a tennis court and a huge swimming pool. Her house itself is amazing. It's white with a blue roof and huge windows and inside there's a huge glass stair case.
Laura is standing at the front door when i arrive at her house.
"Well don't you look great" she laughs.
"Oh shut up"
"You need a serious makeover girl"
"Well duh"
"Come inside" she says walking to the door
We go inside into her room which is covered in pink walls and fairy lights on the walls and huge mirrors with Polaroid photos stuck onto the glass.
She has a huge desk with thousands of different brands of makeup
She walks over to her closet and pulls out a shirt black dress.
"And this is for you" she says handing me the dress.
"Oh my god thank you so much!" I scream
I hope Noah likes it.
Lauren offers to do my makeup and then once she's done it is already 6:00pm so we hop in the car and get driven to the party.

Lauren and I leap out of the car as soon as we arrive and we walk to the door like supermodels. We were greeted at the front door by a older looking boy. With black silked back hair, a muscle t-shirt and black shorts going down to his knees. He has high socks with Nike shoes. He smiles at us when we arrive.
"And who are you gorgeous ladies." The boy asks
"Um well I'm Amber and this Lauren" I say pointing over to her "and um.. well"
The boy looks confused.
"We are here with Noah" Lauren interrupts.
He's confusion turns into a smile and he opens the door for us.
We walked inside the house in a awesome hallway that led to a huge staircase. Above our heads was one of the biggest chandeliers I've ever seen, and there seemed to be doors everywhere. Very few people were out inside and most of the people were outside.
We wondered to the back yard, there was strands of lights decorating the walls and tables with different foods and drinks on them and there was a barbecue and a DJ. There was at least 100 people around and half of them with drinks in their hands.
A familiar face walks over to us, it was Noah.
My heart literally somersaulted at the sight of him.
"You guys came!" He says with a huge smile on his face. He's wearing light blue ripped jeans and a long v neck white t-shirt with his blonde hair tucked away in a backwards cap.
"Wouldn't miss it." I told him
"Come on Tobin's over near the fire pit with Luke." Noah says walking off and waving his hand to come follow
Wait what. Who's Luke?
I look over at Lauren to see if she has any idea. She just shrugs her shoulders.
We catch up to Noah who is standing with Tobin and another boy with short brown hair, pale face, green eyes. He's wearing a black T shirt and black jeans.
Black on black okay? I laugh to myself
I assume this is Luke.
"Hey, I'm Luke" he says
Yep I'm right
"Hey"
"Lauren! Amber!" Tobin screams waving his drink in the air.
"Tobin!!" We mimic back.
"Come on let's party!" He screams

A few hours later after drinking, eating and dancing. Noah walks over to me and near a huge oak tree covered with Christmas lights. Its just me and him and we are away from all the noise and the party.
He leans up against a nearby tree.
"You don't even know how glad I am that you came to this party. It's so much better with you here" he tells me
"Thanks." I say with my face heating up.
"You're blushing" he laughs.
"What no?" I say putting my hands over my face feeling the heat
"Cute girl" he smiles
I remove my hands from my face and he walks over closer to me.
He smiles at me and I smile back, he touches my hair and starts playing with it
"Wanna see something cool?" He announces
"What is there more dolphins?" I joke
"No, better then dolphins" he laughs
He grabs my hand and takes me to the field and sits me down.
"What's so cool about thi-"
"Shhhh" he smiles sweetly
Suddenly fireworks burst out into the sky creating sparks of yellow red purple blue and orange. The sky lights up and is beautiful.
We sit there for a few minutes admitting the fireworks.
When I fell him move closer to me, his leg is rubbing against mine and I can feel he's facing straight at me and looking into my eyes. I turn around to face him and without saying anything he grabs my face with his hands and makes it into a cup and kisses me.
My heart starts racing, he slowly kisses my lips. He lets go and stares into my eyes without saying anything and puts his arms around me.
Noah Miles just kissed me.
My first kiss was to him.
