"You look like you just seen a ghost."

"Wow..." Cassie says as she looks around the MGM arena, "It was right here where young MJ got his start."

"Doing live shows with the Jackson 5." Dee says in awe.

"And don't forget Elizabeth Taylor's speech for the Jackson Family Honors!" Macy adds.

"Can you just imagine this entire place packed full with Moonwalkers, all chanting 'Michael, Michael, Michael!' Imagine how amazing it would've been to sit right here," I take a spot in an empty chair front row, "and watch Michael Jackson perform. He danced on that stage. How cool is that?" I grin.

The girls take a seat in the empty spots around me and we all look up at the stage silently. Imagining what it would've been like to sit here twenty two years prior.

"I miss him." Macy's soft voice breaks the silence.

"I never asked... Where were you guys when you heard the news?" I ask softly.

"I was at my Mom's house taking a nap." Cassie says, "I heard her scream really loud and I ran into the living... and then I seen the television screen."

"The dentist's office." Macy sighs. "At first I didn't notice because the TV volume was so low, but when I realized what was happening I ran out of the waiting room."

"I was washing dishes, and I heard it from the television in the living room." Bridgett laughs dryly, "I dropped the plate I was drying and it smashed into like a hundred pieces. It was old too. My mother was pissed."

"Oh, hey!" Macy says suddenly, "I almost forget."

We all look at her curiously as she digs around in her bag before getting an old piece of paper out.

"I found it in my dream box." She says brightly.

"Oh my God." I laugh, craning my neck to get a better look, "You still have that?"

"What?" Bridge asks.

"Of course I still have it. It means a lot to all of us so I'd never throw it away."

She unfolds the paper and holds it infront of her so everyone can see.

Throughout the years the paper had gotten yellower and the pencil had started to fade, but other than that it was just like I remembered it.

"That's like a hundred years old!" Cassie says in disbelief, "You've got to be kidding me."

"Nope it's all right here in black and white... Excuse the pun." She snickers.

We crowd around her looking at the list that we all remembered so clearly from our childhood.

"We never did check anything off of this thing." Dee smiles as she shakes her head.

Cassie snatches the paper out of Macy's hands and clears her throat. "Go to Neverland, get his autograph," she smiles at us, "Go to his concert... Meet Michael Jackson."

We're all silent as she finishes reading off the unaccomplished list.

"Well... this is almost like going to his concert." Bridgett says optimistically, "He preformed here alot."

"It's not the same." And we all know that.

"I mean, honestly," I continue, "Can we really say we've done MJ any justice? We had plans, and then we just put them in a box." I sigh.

"We were like ten when we made that list, Shania." Bridgett argues.

"That doesn't matter." I shake my head, "Ten or twenty, the point is we had real plans and we didn't even do them. We broke the one rule Michael had for all of his fans."
