Chapter 6- The Party {3/5}

Paige's POV

I walk over to Kate and I see her holding hands with Jerome. I smile and put two thumbs up at Jerome who looked at me. He smiled back and nodded. Then he had mouthed out 'What about Mitch?' I sighed and shook my head, then remembered what he said before, the thing that sent chills down my spine.

Kate's POV

Jerome and I kept holding hands, we walked out to the backyard. Adam, Ty, Mitch, Preston and Jason were all doing backflips off the roof into the pool.

Paige's POV

"Guys! What the hell are you doing?" Even though it was pretty obvious what they were doing, I still asked.

"Backflips into the pool!" Mitch said, then did one to show me. I saw him hit his ankle on the side of the pool and it bend sideways, it looked like it hurt!

"Oh, awesome." I reply, not wanting to make it obvious I had seen his fail and astonished that they, Mitch especially, could do backflips, from a roof, into a pool!

They finally decided to get out. I brought out towels to them so they wouldn't get the floor wet, I handed one to each of them. I blushed once I saw Mitch's bare chest. I quickly threw the towel at him and walked into the house.

"Paige, you okay there buddy?" Addison asked.

"Oh hey Addison, yeah I'm fine. You look nice tonight, Mat's a lucky guy to have you!" I said and winked.

"Oh, thanks, you look nice too! I bet the lucky guy who gets you will be happy." She says while giggling.

"Oh, heh thanks, I must get going now, meeting our guests!" I said goodbye and walked around, talking to people every so often.

••• Time skip one hour •••

"Hey Kate?" I tapped on her shoulder and asked. 

She turned her head and looked at me with a smile. "Yeah Paige?" 

"Should we play a game?"

"Sure! What were you thinking of playing?"

"How about.. Truth or dare?"

"Oh!! I know, spin the bottle."

"Ooh yeah! Okay. I'll round everyone up!"

I stand on a chair and yell out "LISTEN UP PEOPLE!!"

Everyone turned to me, group by group.

"We're going to have a little fun and play a game!"

"What game?" Courtney asked, Mat looking at her.

"Spin the bottle." I say. Everyone had a shocked look on their faces but then it turned to excitement. This was going to be a fun night.
